The idea that Saturday’s shooting was staged to help Trump’s approval falls SUPER FLAT when you consider Trump ACTUALLY being shot in the ear bumped him HALF A POINT in the polls. @DougJones Ummm…this was not the FBI paying informants $32/ hour + mileage. This was a private donor funded org paying millions that kept these groups relative.

Charging the Southern Poverty Law Center with a federal crime for paying informants to help dismantle hate groups is an outrageous weaponization of the Dept of Justice and the FBI. As someone who has been a prosecutor and has taken on the Klan I can tell you that use of paid informants is a common tactic used to dismantle drug cartels, the mob and extremist groups on both the right and the left. It is clear that all civil rights organizations are in the cross hairs of this Administration and that folks, puts everyone at risk.

Ive been a Bama fan for over 25 years, Saban is definitely not a Republican or a Trump supporter that's been pretty obvious whenever he rarely mentioned anything about politics before 2025. His views may have changed recently but he was anti-trump while he was coaching at Bama.
