I don't forsee some massive overnight growth. I think the best case is Bungie maintains support and adds to the game and really focusses on retention, then over time more and more players get curious and try the game. But it would be a slow build, something I have no clue if they have the runway to do funding wise. The problem I have is every example I can think of launched flawed, and grew overtime as the game improved. I don't think I can truthfully say Marathon is a flawed game. But this is what you would hope for a la a CS or a r6. Live service games that grew over time. but again both those games came out with issues. Fixing those issues is what helped the game grow.
