@jasonryanmd I agree with the sentiment but the case I’m assuming you’re talking about about where the med student was hitting on the OB/GYN patient, asking to do her PAP smear and trying to follow her on insta, was really bass wash worse than one little blemish.

There was a recent suicide of a US medical student after a professionalism violation. Many students feel they have to be perfect, that one blemish on their record will ruin their career. But if you could know the truth about your attendings, you’d know they’ve all made enormous mistakes. I’ve made hundreds over the years. Talk to someone if you’re in despair. And allow yourself to be flawed. Don’t try to be perfect. No one is.

@bibiiking11 Comparing the akatsuki to the troupe is like comparing the EU (a bunch of different countries with a loose affiliation) to the United States (one country made up of several states). Yes the troupe is a more bonded cohesive unit, but that doesn’t mean it’s better

the phantom troupe is so clear of akatsuki as a group but it's not because akatsuki is bad or sum, the troupe is just too good

@LokiJulianus @FrenlyOfficer That’s really not that unbelievable when you have basic understanding of important dates in American history and realize that 1492 and 1620 are over a hundred years apart

@drterrysimpson @Dr_mac2 Any doctor who’s not an idiot knows that medical schools are still illegally practicing DEI. The justice department has objective evidence. If you’re gonna shut your eyes, cover your ears and pretend the obvious truth is a lie, I have to question your abilities as a doctor

This sounds like the justice department is looking at race as opposed to Yale looking at applicants. I would side with Yale over the current justice department anytime
AAGHarmeetDhillon@AAGDhillon

At Yale Medical School, a black applicant is 29 times more likely to be invited to interview than an Asian with equally strong academics.   Today, @CivilRights told Yale that its use of race in admissions is ILLEGAL—and that @TheJusticeDept will step in to enforce Title VI. justice.gov/opa/pr/justice…

@JeffAnderson_ @AAGDhillon @CivilRights @TheJusticeDept If blacks are getting a 600% advantage against Asians and whites with the same stats and still find themselves underrepresented, the black community has some issues it needs to work out on its own. And patients shouldn’t be stuck with mediocre DEI doctors.

Yale School of Medicine Has a total of 553 students across All four classes. Total Black students: 44. That’s ~10 per class. Total Asian students: 157. That’s ~40 per class. There are nearly as many Asian students PER CLASS as there are Black students in the entire school. Black: 14% of America. Only 7% of Yale Med Asian: 7% of America. 28% of Yale Med. Who exactly is getting discriminated against here ? aamc.org/media/6131/dow…

Gun-owner and daughter of a gun instructor here. You can’t legally shoot someone for punching you one time in the face. Especially after intentionally trying to incite violence.
FearBuck@FearedBuck

ChudTheBuilder shot a man who attacked him outside a courthouse in Clarksville & accidentally grazed himself in the process. Before it escalated, he asked the man if he was going to “chimp out” the man then walked up & sucker punched him. It is unclear if the man survived.

@StatisticUrban A “gerrymander free” map would still favor the democrats by numerous seats because of places like New England that are 40% republican but democrats get 100% of the seats and all the “election integrity experts” insist that’s totally fair and not gerrymandering.

@PraiseTodd @PpollingNumbers They weren’t even backed into a corner in 2020 and they still attempted a coup. The democrat agenda in 2020 was essentially a permanent power grab. They fell two senators short of allowing it to happen. Thats why I believe Trump needs to do it before they can.

@Morning_Tide14 @PpollingNumbers “Expanding democracy” by giving more representation to places that vote for you, diluting the power of places that don’t vote for you, stacking the courts with unelected sympathetic judges who will go along with whatever you say. That’s literally exactly how Orban did it.
