A patient lost near 80 lbs with #Mounjaro in 8 months. With current weight of 265 lbs (BMI 45) and still having severe #obesity, patient will undergo #BariatricSurgery (gastric bypass) in the next few days to help her losing more weight.

That said, data suggests major injuries can happen with any technique, including veress + optical. I'm a straight optical guy myself.

@antang_tang It’s eviCore that blocked the CT on behalf of an insurance company. Geographic irony is I’m on vacation very near their headquarters. Would have been faster to drive there from the SC vacation house than track them down via phone.

Waited by phone for 30 minutes this AM for a Peer to Peer while on vacation with family. No call or notification that call would not happen. Insurance company wants X-ray for rapidly growing soft tissue mass of lower extremity instead of CT. #annoyed

Reasons surgery (me) needs pharmacy (my wife - @MWaldronPharmD). Surgery tries to give Motrin to a 3 month old, followed by making Augmentin non-absorbable by mixing it with milk. Moral? Surgery doesn’t read labels, we need pharmacy. 🥺
