As we approach the 25th year since Columbine, I am reading and writing about the life of my hero -- Rachel Joy Scott. Her journals to God lit a fire within me as a young girl. Still today, her writings move me to tears, and her life is a testament to Him. “He gave his life for me - - I will give my life to him," she wrote. “These hands belong to Rachel Joy Scott and will someday touch millions of people’s hearts." Her life changed mine, and I know millions of others.
