💢BREAKING: Iranian State Media Reports Commercial Pier Struck Near Bandar Abbas
Iranian IRGC-affiliated outlet Fars News Agency reported Thursday that parts of the Bahman Qeshm pier, a commercial and passenger port on the eastern side of Qeshm Island at the entrance to the Strait of Hormuz, were struck during what it described as exchanges of fire between Iranian forces and “the enemy.”
IRIB also reported sounds of explosions in the area. Further details were not immediately available.
Since seizing control of maritime traffic in the Strait of Hormuz, Iran has mandated that vessels transit through a specific corridor located between Qeshm Island and Larak Island.

🇮🇷🇦🇪 Several EXPLOSIONS Across Iran's Island and the South, NAVAL Confrontation Israel media says Israel has not attacked Iran. So this is either UAE, or the U.S. No confirmation yet. Iran's state broadcaster IRIB has CONFIRM an explosion at Bahman port on Qeshm Island. Two columns of smoke are seen rising from the port. Fars News reports that the commercial parts were targeted in this exchange. No confirmation on WHO it was yet. Iran's Mehr confirms several explosions in Sirik County, southern Iran. The exact nature of these explosions is not yet clear, but it seems the sounds are related to clashes in the waters of Sirik County. Tasnim News also CONFIRMS multiple blasts near Bandar Abbas, with some sources linking the sounds to IRGC Navy operations warning ships against unauthorized passage through the Strait of Hormuz. Simultaneously, five U.S. Air Force KC-135 Stratotanker refueling aircraft took off from the UAE. KC-135s extend the range and loiter time of strike aircraft.
