Before I head to bed tonight, I feel compelled to express how astonishing it is to witness the media and Western nations urgently reacting to the demise of seven white people. Why is it that the tragic loss of 40,000 Palestinians, including 13,000 children, has failed to garner the same extensive investigative journalism and media coverage as these seven people? It really does seem to me that the news does really matter what colour the person skin is when they die. God bless the dead. May these deaths be turning point for what’s happening in Gaza but I doubt it.

Ah yes. The videos of snipers murdering kids, the thousands of dead women and children, the women being forced to undergo caesarean section without anaesthetic and use tent scraps for sanitary pads, the videos of 2000lb ‘dumb’ bombs falling on residential areas, the refusal to let aid in to starve people to death and lying about it to the world until you’re caught red handed as people visit Rafah, the countless proof of academics and medics and journalists and aid workers being personally targeted (Refaat Alareer being the perfect example—personally targeted by Israel and obviously not a combatant), the Nazi rhetoric by every member of the Israeli government, the civilians blocking aid, the encouragement of additional settlers in the West Bank, the list goes on and on and on. And all of this is well documented. And yet you have the sheer fucking audacity to call people who oppose this ‘ignorant’ and ‘racist?’ Every time you write this shit it makes you look even worse. Every time you try and pretend the world is stupid to oppose your evil crimes, it makes you look worse. You don’t get to proudly commit war crimes then play the victim—Israel has been revealed to the world like never before, and it is the truth, nothing else, that is destroying you.

Strange how so many refused to vote Labour in the last GE when it was led by a man with integrity offering real change....

@UKLabour Labour has no plan to power up Britain nor do anything positive. Since Starmer took over, its only goal is to get Starmer, Reeves and Streeting into positions of power as their only ideology is power for themselves. They are no better than any Tory.

@DerbyChrisW We were told that privatisation would increase competition by allowing us to change our supplier and thus force better service and lower costs. So how many people have managed to change their water supplier? Answer - NONE!. Privatisation was a rip-off.

And again! We all supported every previous Labour leader. Then a leader from the left was elected and the Blairites decided they knew better. Every single Labour voter who now refuses to vote Labour - that is on the Blairites for changing the rules! No spin can change that.

From the lack of reporting on Julian Assange's case, you'd be forgiven for thinking that all the good journalists were locked up in Belmarsh.

YOU didn’t change the Labour Party @Keir_Starmer . I and thousands of others like me did by walking away from it. No longer able to support the party we campaigned and supported for years because of your lies and treachery You are delusional, duplicitous and despicable.

Hi @bphillipsonMP The call 'From the River to the sea' is a call for equal rights and dignities for Palestinians. Can you explain why you claim this is 'antisemitic', and on what grounds you dispute that Palestinians should have equal rights and dignities?

Keir Starmer has closed down an Islington CLP on the mere off-chance that some members might support its sitting Labour MP. Think on that while you're telling me how 'honest and decent' Starmer is.

We must have accountability in politics & even if @jeremycorbyn stands independently, there’s no hiding the fact that Starmer manoeuvred his predecessor & elected former leader out of the party, motivated by spite & with no democratic process . That alone is a stain on him. 1/2

Every other incident takes weeks to investigate and we still don’t know everything that happened on October 7th but the US can confidently claim Ukraine has had no involvement within 24 hours of an attack with zero access to the evidence…

The fundamental problem with Starmer’s Labour is the lack of principle. A leader who lies to get elected, makes his own party less democratic, says whatever to suit his audience, supports draconian Tory laws, and undermines due process to protect a genocidal ethnostate, proves unequivocally that there is nothing sacred in his mind—no ethical hard lines that must not be crossed. And without a solid foundation of principle, there can be no challenging the status quo—for the very nature of fighting for something you believe in is nullified if you’ve already proven it’s not a hard line before you begin to fight. You cannot stand on principles you do not fundamentally believe in. This is why Labour simply cannot bring any of the changes we need under Starmer. It’s an impossibility.

@BBCNews 50 years ago equalising pensions was discussed in Parliament. 40 years ago laws were enacted to do that. Women born in the 1950s were around 30 years old when that happened.

Nurses wearing pro-Palestine badges forced a Jewish child out of a hospital bed while he recieved a blood transfusion, it has been alleged. The nine-year-old boy, who suffers from a rare blood disorder, must receive regular treatment. During a recent blood transfusion session at the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital, his family claims, the child wore his kippah and tzitzit as usual. He had a cannula placed in his arm to deliver blood, his uncle, Elliott Smus, wrote on LinkedIn, and was placed in a hospital bed. Nurses wearing pro-Palestine insignia then told him he could not sit there any longer, and forced him onto the floor, Smus claimed. The next time the family took their child to hospital he did not wear any outward sign of his Jewish identity and he was treated well, the sales director wrote. The “proudly Jewish” boy is now “scared” to wear his kippah to hospital, Smus added. Read the full story by @felixpope_ at the @JewishChron here: thejc.com/news/uk/child-…

@SonjaConscious @johnmcdonnellMP @premnsikka The poor, sick and old are economically unviable. They take from the public purse and give nothing in return. This government thinks that that money would be far better spent on lining the pockets of the already wealthy.

@johnmcdonnellMP @premnsikka They made ordinary benefits unliveable - that was their aim & understandably many got genuinely sick = they are part of huge wave on long term incapacity since Covid. Not only has Neo-Liberalism made work unlivable they’ve made the safety net into something that makes you sick.

This set of statistics is truly shocking. There has to be an acknowledgment across the political spectrum of the scale of human suffering this level of poverty inflicts on people & the need for serious action to address this.
