@hoffmann6383 @flaskworks Thank you, and she's responding generally well to soc. I like to think that NWBO will assume a positive impact from Flaskworks when negotiating pricing with NICE. So I keep fingers crossed for when (if?) recurrence requires another set of decisions. F**K cancer. 😀

Sorry to hear about your wife. Yeah, NICE is the next wildcard after the approval decision. I'm hopeful that reimbursement is provided, especially after a cost reduction when Flaskworks comes online. I'm going way out on a limb here - I've been frustrated with where NWBO seems to be at with NICE, but I think NWBO might be trying to time NICE with Flaskworks approval to address the cost issues you bring up.

➡️A Speculative DCVax-L Approval Timeline⬅️ Last week we saw what is likely $NWBO's DCVax-L showing up in the CHM meeting minutes for June 27/28, 2024: x.com/hoffmann6383/s… Does this offer any clue as to where we are at in the approval process? For this, lets compare $NWBO's DCVax-L to another medicine that appeared in the CHM meeting minutes. Note, this is no guarantee DCVax-L will follow the same timeline. Further, I'm speculating that this is the same medicine being discussed as the CHM meeting minutes don't name the specific medicines. Without further ado, lets look at the timeline for an Alzheimer's medicine. ✅April 25/26 CHM Meeting Minutes app.box.com/s/jv487awvqzzs… "LICENSING NEW DRUGS (not previously licensed in the United Kingdom) The Commission considered and advised on: a medicine used in adults to treat the early stages of Alzheimer’s disease." ✅May 30/31 CHM Meeting Minutes app.box.com/s/jv487awvqzzs… "PRE–HEARING (The Commission considers the company’s written data a month before the potential oral hearing and decides whether or not the data have resolved the questions put to the company) The Commission considered the company’s response to questions regarding • a medicine used in adults to treat the early stages of Alzheimer’s disease." ✅June 27/28 CHM Meeting Minutes app.box.com/s/jv487awvqzzs… "PAPERS/ OTHER ITEMS The Commission considered the risk management plan of an application for the treatment of early Alzheimer’s disease." ✅July 25/26 CHM Meeting Minutes app.box.com/s/jv487awvqzzs… "HEARING (The Commission considers the company’s written data and oral representations and decides whether or not the data have resolved the questions put to the company. The Commission then advises the licensing authority) The Commission heard and considered a company’s presentation on an application for a medicine for the treatment in adults to slow the progression of mild cognitive impairment and mild dementia due to Alzheimer’s disease." ✅October 23 Approval gov.uk/government/new… "As for any new medicine, this decision was made with expert scientific advice on the benefit risk of donanemab from the Commission on Human Medicines (CHM), the government’s independent advisory body." ✅Thoughts✅ For Donanemab we see the initial CHM meeting on April 25/26 and the approval happening October 23. This is 181 days. For $NWBO's DCVax-L we saw the initial CHM meeting on June 27/28. If we add 181 days to June 27/28 we come to December 25, 2024. December 25, 2024 falls roughly in line if we look at $NWBO's DCVax-L application and apply the average approval times: x.com/hoffmann6383/s… In short, I think we are coming up on approval decision time!

💉June 27/28 2024 CHM Meeting: DCVax-L!?💉 "The Commission considered and advised on: a medicine indicated to treat adults with brain cancer." @hoffmann6383 @flaskworks sufferers that may have benefited. Sadly, given that dcvax-l treatment costs £100,000s I fear it very unlikely that NICE will approve for NHS use and all that will happen is that those with sufficient resources will access the treatment, which they can do now anyway.

@hoffmann6383 @flaskworks ...and general prescription and use. For example, Donanenab was approved for marketing but was not approved by NICE for use as standard NHS care. NICE concluded that the cost of providing Donanemab outweighed the benefits that may have been delivered to the 70,000 .......

@SkySportsGolf Regarding the comment by @AndrewColtart during his Open commentary that if pros take 6 hours for a round, how long would amateurs take? Cheeky blighter. I'm a 24 handicapper and a 3 ball normally takes 3 1/2 hours at my 6,600 yd course. Imo pros take far too long.

@edgarwright I am a Japanese woman in Japan who has just seen #LastNightInSoho and got gobsmacked. I was in London in July 2019 with my son and we came across a filming location. We wondered what movie it was. Then I saw this scene on the screen today! OMG‼️😍 #AnyaTaylorJoy

Unfortunately, @WindleshamGolf has decided to apply very limited discretion and returned to use of rakes, flag stick removal, discretion for staff and club members to wear face coverings indoors. Would be useful to see a copy of their risk assessment.

Just to correct the tweet from @WindleshamAGR regarding the use of rakes, @EnglandGolf have NOT decided that clubs MUST reinstate the use of rakes. EGU's updated Play Safe guidance states that clubs MAY largely return to pre-pandemic mode of operation. Clubs have discretion.

@RealDMitchell @UnbelieveTruth It's a great show. I was looking forward to watching the recording this evening but the dopes who manage the production (Lost in TV) over-allocate tickets. This means that some, like my wife and I, travel over 2 hours to be told the venue is full and are sent on our merry way.

@UnbelieveTruth Be aware of the process, though: book your free tickets, download the tickets, travel half way across the country to get to the theatre, turn homeward bound again because they've over-allocate available seating.

@ssencommunity Just wanted to complement one of the SSEN staff members I was in touch with during a power outage this evening. His name is Bradley. Bradley was informative, responsive and polite. Good job.
