Refined and iterated on the first half of Episode 1, focusing on the mech combat section, including movement improvements, camera shake, and other gameplay polish. The voice are temporarily using TTS, plan to replace them with professional voice acting later. #gamedev #indiedev

Thanks to @WTFmabimogu for giving me the opportunity to play Super Alloy Crush.
I got to demonstrate the Demo on my Twitch stream today and it was both a nostalgic and refreshing experience in the genre that I absolutely love. The inspiration from Mega Man X is wonderfully apparent.
Super Alloy Crush is a 2D Side-Scrolling Action Fighting game by Alloy Mushroom, there's a free demo on Steam right now!
The full game will feature a Story Mode. A Battle Rush Mode where every run is fresh, with hundreds of different enhancements. And an Ultimate Challenge mode where you can battle at the hardest difficulty!

Someone mentioned ultra-wide screens. We actually made an iOS/iPhone test a while ago that was already close to ultra-wide, so technically the game could support it—if there’s demand.
It looked pretty cool—very similar to the original arcade Darius, especially since our boss designs are pretty long.
But… we don’t even own an ultra-wide display to test it 😅
