Pointing out the multiple UK #medtwitter binfires Parody account just for laughs

Overworked, underpaid, and subjected to unnecessary hostility. An NHS doctor was prevented from accessing the ward kitchen for a simple glass of tap water. It’s no surprise so many doctors are leaving for countries where they’re valued, respected, and treated with basic dignity.

Doctors received offers for Radiology training posts at around 3-4pm. They were able to accept these offers on Oriel and received confirmation of acceptance. Offers then began to disappear on Oriel. At 6:30pm they received this email. Simply unacceptable.

I’ve finished crying about this and now I’m just full of rage. How can you do this @MRCPUK? I don’t understand. What do you mean your auditing processes found an error? 1.5 years later?! A refund and a free booking for a resit is not enough. Show us what went wrong 😩 (n/?)

The audacity of doctors to have social plans

🚨 UHB - further update 🚨 This is from the @uhbtrust Chief Medical Officer bulletin sent out today 👇🏻 There is no withdrawal of the imposed extra-contractual work rates This will lead to an escalation as @TheBMA cannot accept any employer breaking national agreements

Sat in induction, and the F2s have been taken out for venipuncture training… The NHS is so unserious man, what do they think they’ve been doing for the past year?

Update: there are no jobs left for us, so we have been asked to re-rank areas (which are very large) within an already large deanery, with no further guidance. We are meant to start work on 1st August.

It’s dangerous to blur the lines between doctors and PAs (not doctors/no medical degree). This kind of practice is illegal and what @gmcuk should protect the public against. @NHSEngland must rethink the #itsaGPthing campaign entirely.

What is your favourite UK MedTwitter binfire? I liked the one where a Trust tweeted photos of their induction for F1 doctors and they’d made them all sit on the floor like reception age schoolchildren (2022)

Harold Wilson is often quoted as saying “a week is a long time in politics” Well #MedTwitter would have totally blown his mind!! Put the kettle on and strap in for another round-up of this week’s frantic and towering infernos… The weekly 🗑️ 🔥 🐭

🧵We are 79 soon-to-be Doctors who are supposed to be working in the East Midlands, starting in three months. However, we don't yet know what jobs, hospitals or even which city we will be working in. We are distressed, angry and fed up. [1/2]
