So I am mainly focus on halal investments and mutual funds. I’m currently in : - ARM halal balanced fund - Lotus Halal Investment Fund - Stanbic IBTC Imaan Fund - Lotus Halal Fixed income fund (as emergency funds) - Marble Halal Fixed income fund (cash for expected upcoming expenses) NOT FINANCIAL ADVISE THOUGH! You can always check several mutual funds out ensure they are registered with SEC or reputable companies. For me personally we all know Stanbic IBTC, ARM and Lotus. And most of them share their fact sheet yearly or monthly (Stanbic). So you can see where the money goes the proportion and performance etc to make an informed decision.

I have never invested in mutual funds but I think I will invest in one this year. In my opinion, best way to take advantage of mutual fund is through lump sum investing at the beginning of the year, with that you would be able to assess the performance.

Full grown adults who can’t vacation, take a gap year, have hobbies, play an instrument, speak multiple languages, swim, cycle, skate, or backpack. Just a lifetime of hustling and trying to escape survival mode. These are subtle poverty metrics no one really talks about.
