Here is why I think this is one of the most underappreciated setups in fintech right now. Most people still think of Robinhood as a meme stock trading app. That narrative is years out of date. $4.5 billion in revenue in 2025. Record EPS of $2.05. Record net deposits of $68 billion. 4.2 million Gold subscribers. 11 separate business lines each generating over $100 million in annualized revenue. The stock is down 50% from its highs anyway. Let me walk through what is actually being built. Prediction Markets launched at the end of 2024 and is already the fastest growing product line by revenue in company history. In one year they traded 11 billion contracts with over 1 million customers. By October 2025 alone they processed 2.5 billion contracts in a single month, more than all of Q3. That is 3x sequential growth in one month. January 2026 event contracts grew another 17% month over month to $3.4 billion. This thing is not slowing down. And they just went all in on it. Robinhood partnered with Susquehanna and acquired MIAXdx, a CFTC-licensed exchange and clearinghouse. They now own the infrastructure. Analysts at Barclays and Piper Sandler estimate this joint venture could boost prediction market profitability by roughly 45%. The US sports betting market alone is $20 billion annually. Prediction markets are eating into that TAM and Robinhood is the dominant retail platform. Then there is the Platinum Card. Just announced. $695 annual fee. Over $3,000 in perks. 10% cash back on hotels. 5% on dining. Plated in real platinum. Invite only. They are going directly at American Express and JPMorgan for the premium customer. The Gold Card already has 600,000 users and counting. Banking deposits just crossed $1 billion. These are not trading revenues. This is sticky, recurring, high margin money that does not disappear when markets go quiet. Crypto revenue was up over 300% year over year in Q3. Options up 50%. Bitstamp acquisition gives them a global crypto exchange footprint. Tokenization of real world assets is live. Robinhood Cortex AI is rolling out to Gold subscribers now. International expansion in the UK and EU is accelerating. Analysts project $5.46 billion in revenue for 2026, up 22% year over year, with EBITDA margins expanding toward 59%. Wall Street consensus price target sits at $131 across 21 analysts with 15 buy ratings. Bull case targets go to $180. By 2030, analysts see the stock approaching $191 as banking, prediction markets, and international revenues compound on top of the core trading business. The stock is at $72. The business being built here looks nothing like what the market is pricing.
