My Abstract PoV This is not meant to cause any fud, but rather a collective response to individuals reaching out to me and asking for my thoughts on the situation. - Among the first hundred users - Active streamer and active on chain - Traded coins, collected Nft's, upvoted projects - Had a personal issue on chain - Luca got involved, we disagreed - Issue got resolved months later - Luca promised TGE Q4 2025 (interview shared) - TGE never arrives, market sentiment changes - Internal team changes e.g. post-phil-era - Lack of backing projects on Abstract that I liked - I asked for a reason, but I did not complain - Got an answer from cygaar - Understood his reasoning, but disagreed - I bridge my assets away from Abstract - My XP gets nerfed as my activity died off I understand this list is fairly subjective. This represents my personal point of view. I still wish the team, the chain, and all the Pudgy family only the very best, but I am disillusioned with the experience lately and acted upon that. I hope we can have a constructive discussion in the comments.

Well said

What happened yesterday on @AbstractChain was cursed. I was one click away from posting out of emotion, but restrained myself. It felt like everyone turned on each other. Impulsive comments, blocks, screenshots, negative energy all around. I don't want to be in neither wagmi or doomer camp. One thing is clear: the community is passionate af, and respect has to be mutual between the team and the people. I took the comments about NFTs personally, and I’m going to redirect my energy somewhere else. But that’s a topic for later. Most of all, I definitely want the Abstract community to win in the long run, and I’m going to be there. Just happy to see the energy settle. It was needed for progress.

wtf is going on with abstract? • Luca isn’t involved? • Team ridiculing participants for holding NFTs • XP slashes across the board • Their biggest supporters getting frustrated • Apps leaving or cross chain implementation Seems like it’s imploding but idk, we need clarity

I’ve held $APE from the start I’ve seen it be $27 per $APE & drop to $0.10 per $APE I’ve seen it be a top 20 coin & fall outside top 200 I’ve seen the DAO experiment fail I’ve seen the push to have its own chain I’ve seen Otherside finally come to life What’s next for $APE? Here’s my answer based on what I know about what Yuga is building: 1️⃣ First things first… we may have reached $APE bottom now. Why? > it’s no secret that $APE tokenomics suck > that + vesting schedule + no $APE burn cause constant sell pressure > now, all unlocks have ended & for the first time ever, there’s no massive sell pressure on $APE > $APE is now “deflationary” too according to ApeCo as they’ll burn all $APE collected via ApeChain 2️⃣ I hope that Yuga and ApeCo will push for more use cases and burn cases for $APE now that all unlocks are done > onboard more apps on ApeChain > make $APE spendable across chains, not just present there 3️⃣ But at the end of the day, the success of $APE lies in 1 think only: Otherside > going back to what Vitalik pointed at, L2s are dead now that ETH is scaling > cheap gas fees and fast tx is not enough propositions for ApeChain > what they need is a super app, as Garga said > and that super app is Otherside > if Otherside actually succeeds, then $APE may have a shot at revival End of long post. HBD @apecoin! 🥳

The longer you’re in crypto, the more you realise most onchain “reward” systems are complete BS. Points, scores, tiers, incentives, ratings. It's all fabricated, all easily gamed and all designed to keep you grinding. The worst part? They don’t reward loyalty, they just keep you in the casino long enough while insiders slowly exit.

Whole of Abstract community since launch: “Trust in Luca!” Meanwhile, a Discord mod (somehow on the Abstract team): “Luca isn’t that involved with Abstract” @LucaNetz do you have any insight on what the fuck this guy is talking about in the official Abstract discord server?

So we are not an NFT chain, we are not a meme coin chain, we are not a utilities coin chain and we are most certainly not a DeFi chain. Remind me again what chain are we? Oh right, the consumer chain! So the average consumer must be someone who enjoys gaming, gambling, or is a streamer or an influencer, because these are the only categories that are being catered on Abstract right now, with heavy emphasis on gaming. Onboarding more onchain users you say? Tell me which consumer wants to sign a Tx for every action they take onchain. It is us, the core WEB3 users who are used to this UI of Tx popping up for our onchain activities, no WEB2 user would want a popup thrown onto their faces just because you need to onboard people onchain! Definitely defeats the purpose of the consumer chain. The stance from the starting was this is not a chain which you can farm easily, farmers will get smoked here. Yet, you devise a system which has to be the most easily riggable and farmable I've ever seen, "The XP System". You encourage holding assets only to nuke them while people are already down in a bad market? For a lot of people the XP was the silver lining they had for holding a lot of dead assets from the pico top and not dumping them. If the concern here is why should XP be attributed to projects that are dead already, I agree, they shouldn't, but what about projects that aren't dead? People buy things based on a thesis they have, that could be a potential upside in the future, the art, the community or the utility. When you encourage users to hold, an additional benefit of XP gets added to their thesis. If the project fails to come through the initial thesis for which they bought, they can either write off their investments or can sell at that point at whatever price the market decides. But because now there is an XP benefit involved a lot of users decide to hold those dead assets. And all of a sudden you decide to nuke the XP for holding to zero? Either this decision should have been taken when the project died/rugged, or buying and holding for XP should never had been encouraged, let users buy autonomously what they like based on just their thesis or should have been nerfed gradually. We are already seeing a reaction to this in the floor prices of all the collections on Abstract, even the ones that have a functional product or a solid team and a community behind them. The positive side to this is, it encourages real innovation regarding NFTs and its use cases, so they are able to stand on their own without the XP incentive. But then where is the incentive for them to be launched and curated on Abstract? Why not launch them on Eth, Base or Solana? There is clear downside to this trade off. And could be an upside to this direction. But the real question is why XP to none? Perhaps there should be a form of community consensus deciding which NFTs should receive XP and which shouldn’t. So dead collections with no community contributing to chain retention get axed in XP. While the ones thriving and contributing to chain retention still get the XP they deserve for their role in the chain. Maybe this is achieved by adding NFTs to a voting system in the portal. For an ecosystem to flourish, all of its aspects must work in synchronized harmony. My understanding of Abstract was of it being a Digital Disneyland, where there is something for everyone, that however is not the case anymore. With the emphasis completing shifting to AI Agents and pushing transactions just for the sake of it, is it safe to assume that Abstract has finally become the same villain it initially sought out to destroy? @AbstractChain @Abstract_Eco @LucaNetz @0xCygaar

Does @LucaNetz have nothing but yes-men in @AbstractChain? The main team member doesn’t care about holders and even takes pleasure in them. Fine but why publicly annoy the community?

be @AbstractChain Make your users hold trash NFTs for XP then just slash their rewards 2-3x overnight Someone once had a good idea: reward users with XP for holding assets. It kept memes and NFTs alive during a bad market. And now the team decided to kill that too Changes for other activities either stayed the same or were insignificant compared to what happened to NFT holders My $1000 NFT bag (now worth ~$800, thanks) used to generate 30k XP/week Now it gives 13k Congrats on killing the last bit of activity left in your ecosystem Green Chain ⮕ Red Chain
