@craigkellyAFEE Jesus fuck, we are NOT having that TERF crap here. Thank fuck she’ll never get within a whiff of power. That Roy Morgan poll that people are quoting that supposedly shows ON topping the federal primary vote was an SMS poll. The remainder are showing a drop in support on average.

@AngusTaylorMP I’m no rusted-on Labor voter, and that was the longest political suicide note I have ever listened to.

Labor has entered decline. By the election it will be catastrophic for them. Their base demographic will move to the Greens and Teals. Their right flank will vote one nation. All they will have left is the hard core unionists.

@TimjboAU Oh hell no! I’m no rusted-on Labor voter (I think the last time I voted Labor was over ten years ago) but his speech yesterday virtually destroyed any chance of any chance of them getting re-elected. His whole speech alienated affluent immigrants, women and the educated 1/2

Calling it now. By the time the Next Federal Election in Australia comes around, Labor will have done one or two of the following; Prime Minister Albanese, or Treasurer Chalmers will be replaced, or gone. Negative Gearing Reform & Capital Gains Tax Reform will be scraped.

Want to hear a horror story? My very sweet husband emailed me a couple dinner options for our anniversary coming up. He listed a couple different restaurant/picnic options and asked which I preferred. I started replying to his email and that's when I noticed...

@DrewPavlou One seat out in the country doesn’t prove they can win. To win, they have to win seats like Menzies. They will have to be able to take a swathe of seats in Melbourne’s north. That’s Labor heartland. Those people are just educated enough to NEVER vote ON.

@kevinbonham @sandylanceley For example, one question me asked to rate the PM’s performance. The choices were ‘yes’ and ‘no’. They would have been better served by allowing us to rate the performance. This tells you much more. 2/2.

@kevinbonham @sandylanceley I got an SMS text for a poll yesterday (happened to be Roy Morgan too. Maybe the same one?) and I concur with this. I chose to respond so I think you may be on to something. The other thing that occurred to me was that the way questions were asked didn’t allow for nuance. 1/?

I’ve been gambling all my adult life. The only sure bet I’ve ever seen is that Democrats will invariably be on the wrong side of everything. You just know if they wheel this old commie crone out on a soapbox, they’re going to screw the pooch yet again.
