Kpop fans need to understand that at some point, the numbers won’t matter anymore. When your and your idols grow older, all that begins to matter is that they’re still together, still making music, still having opportunities for fans to see them perform live in person, still sharing moments with you in whatever way possible. At the end of the day, numbers—streams, sales, even awards and titles—all of it are ephemeral. You need to hold on to something more permanent. Something more long lasting—like the actual music, and the actual bonds formed because of that music.

Taemin has paid his dues he can be on Jennifer Hudson's show and more. Taemin is an 11 year soloist and has been active in SHINee for 18 years. He has been a dancer and singer since 2008 debuting at 14 years old. He completed a solo world tour 2024-2025 with his biggest venue being the Kia Forum, he also sold out his Las Vegas Veil concert in under 11 minutes. Many people all around the world know who Taemin is, in fact Taemin's top monthly listeners are from South Korea, USA, Mexico, Russia, and Japan. His band SHINee was the first Kpop band to perform at Abbey Road in London in 2011. Taemin is the first male Korean soloist to perform at Coachella and he will be the first Kpop soloist to be recognized for his solo career with an exhibit at the Grammy Museum. His exhibit will be right next to his idol Michael Jackson. Taemin is known as the idol of idols, he is credited for popularizing gender neutral choreography and fashion, his solo work is the blueprint for many idols, he is also credited for his dark and experimental concepts, he is also known for being one of the best performers in music. He has achieved so much in his career including a masters degree in music and film. Jennifer Hudson didn't even tell the audience he was there and people lost it when they found out, if he was unknown why did the show put so much effort into hiding who the guest was? He literally was a special guest. Y'all trying hard to discredit Taemin but he keeps shining stay mad.
