@IAMYENDI So she is almost fully utilizing tech. Sorry to say but it's the way of the world and we may be behind. My daughter is currently tested on a computer at 5. Worried about her penmanship but at this point I realize who is reading my writing but me.

@melissatjames She was researching using Google and her text book. The assignment was being done in Google slides, to be printed and turned in for grading.

Opinions please. 10yr old working on a presentation. Overheard her narrating to her device as it created the text. Asked her not to do that, but to type it out herself. Now, watching her type, and wondering if I need to get with the times. Isn't this kind of the point of tech?

@ShaunT I was having the same problem but once you discipline them by giving them consequences, like no cartoons or no treat etc., I have found that to be very useful.
