• The Setup: Gary is already at the lab when you arrive, but Oak explicitly makes him wait and forces you to pick your starter first. This isn't politeness. It’s a calculated move so Gary can instantly counter-pick you
• The Tracking: Gary is miraculously always waiting to fight you with a fully healed team at the worst possible times. How? Oak gave you the Pokédex. He is tracking your real-time location and feeding it to Gary so he can ambush you
• The Intel: Gary is always one step ahead. He automatically gets a Town Map, where you have to go beg for one. He beats every Gym Leader before you do. Oak is clearly funneling him the optimal routes, boss strategies, and insider League information
Professor Oak handed you a tracking device and used you as a constant sparring partner for his own grandson. And even when you beat Giovanni, who gets the spotlight? That's right! Gary gets handed the Gym! But maybe that's just a bunch of random coincidences... Or is it? 🤔

@OldSchoolRS The change to not lose graceful in the wilderness is 10/10. I drop all wilderness clues because re-gearing to head out there is too annoying to feel worth it.
That and the rest of the changes there might actually make me not hate the wilderness. Fully support it.

Fun fact: Lucas liked The Last Jedi, unlike the installments that Abrams directed. The reason is simple, and revealed here—he wanted something new. Further, the crap that the worst and most negative fans pile on Rian Johnson for Luke Skywalker's arc? That was heavily based on Lucas's own original ideas—a broken Luke in self-imposed exile, haunted by a betrayal of a student, cut off from the Force, and acting as a mentor to a young female protagonist only reluctantly. Hottest of takes here, but Rian Johnson was simply one of the best directors we ever had on a mainline Star Wars installment, and the fandom is full of childish idiots that should have been ignored. He has the originality of Lucas, respected his vision, and is innovative and the master of his craft. He managed to get more emotion out of the actors for Rey, Kylo, and Luke than Abrams ever did, and his special effects were interesting and spectacular. The throne room scene in particular was truly great. That more people do not appreciate what Johnson did is because they are philistines. He should have been allowed to direct and write all three installments. Somewhere in an alternative universe, people there got to enjoy a sequel trilogy that wasn't childish and derivative trash. I'm jealous.

@TheoryWiseOS Aside from fixing sticking points, the fact you can build facilities before the level to use them is very odd to me. If anything it should be the opposite so you can help out on friend’s boats. Hope they’d change that.

@TheoryWiseOS I got stuck about 10 minutes after finishing the first quest and lost my cargo hold items because I didn’t understand the mechanics of escaping yet.
Felt really bad and almost stopped doing the skill. Glad I kept with it though. Pretty fun once you hit lvl30 or so

Sailing launched a week ago and (obviously) didn't kill the game. It has been a blast, but like with all updates of this size, not without its issues.
What are your biggest, constructive issues with Sailing that you hope Jagex fixes in the coming weeks?
