@johnrich States set the standards not the Federal Department of Education. Also, teachers are having a hard time finding time to teach things topics that aren’t tested.

Kids can't read or write in cursive, because public schools stopped teaching it. That means, these kids don't have a REAL signature, and they can't read the original text of the Declaration of Independence, or the US Constitution. Tell me again why we need the Dept of Education?

@GovBillLee Does that mean you are going to take away the third grade retention law so parents can “decide where their child goes to school and what they learn”? If I want my child to go to fourth grade after completing 3rd grade, shouldn’t, I, the parent, get to decide?

I really need @benwright to give me a color coded @NashvilleSC depth chart and it would be extremely helpful if this year it included face pictures and jersey numbers. I am excited about the season but very concerned I don’t know half the team.

@GracieNunyabiz @Headbanger215 @GlennJacobsTN 10,000 vouchers are up for grabs by anyone, regardless of income level. They also said in their fiscal notes they expect based on other states data that about 65% of vouchers will go to kids already in private schools.

@Headbanger215 @GlennJacobsTN Where did you get the idea that this is vouchers for rich people? I would like to try to understand the argument. The fact is, those already in private are excluded. Moreover there is an income cap to qualify.

Regarding school choice, the 2024 Democratic Party Platform states: “We oppose the use of private-school vouchers, tuition tax credits, opportunity scholarships, and other schemes that divert taxpayer-funded resources away from public education.” The Republican National Platform states: "Republicans believe families should be empowered to choose the best Education for their children. We support Universal School Choice in every State in America.”

@jovy1kenobiii @6StringsStrike Yes! We went the other day during their sale and paid $10 each (worth it to us). They took us through the clubs, and then up to the boxes- saw the media box, owner’s box, etc. Then we went down to the pitch-couldn’t go on the grass, but then to locker rooms. My family enjoyed it.

@6StringsStrike What is the stadium “tour” sorry for the dumb question I know what a tour is but as in go into lockerooms and on the pitch ?
