Some personal news I can finally share. Unbelievably, I’ve been awarded an OBE in the 2024 Kings Birthday Honours list 🤯 for Services to Young People. 30+ years of working with young people and every day it’s a privilege to push for better services for young people. Thank you to all who have inspired me and for your unwavering support over the years.

Proud to move a motion today to recognise ESEA (East & Southeast Asian) Heritage month & acknowledge the diverse contributions of our ESEA communities. As a child of refugees from Vietnam & Cambodia, was a personal speech from me today. Really felt the support from colleagues 🙏

Really proud to have been a part of this and to hear @olivaNalwadda be clear about the massive issue that needs addressing for adolescents around road traffic injury.

@chris_barnham Wonderful news. It’s been a long journey & sure @LewishamCouncil are grateful to @youthfirstldn and the passionate hard working team for keeping the apgs going as a plan was developed. Hope these two amazing orgs can continue to work together in the future for adventure play.
