If you lived in Pennsylvania would you vote to re-elect John Fetterman to the Senate as a Democrat? 👇👇

A routine traffic stop in Oklahoma City turned critical when 71-year-old Lich Vu was slammed to the pavement by Sgt. Joseph Gibson. The confrontation began over a minor traffic accident. When Vu refused to sign a citation—insisting he wasn't at fault—tensions escalated. After a brief verbal exchange, Gibson used a "hip toss" takedown, leaving Vu with serious injuries. Felony assault charges against Gibson were filed by the DA but later dismissed by the State Attorney General, who ruled the officer acted within training. Sgt. Gibson resigned from the OKCPD in March 2025. A federal civil rights lawsuit remains active, though the city is currently funding the officer's legal defense. After nearly a year of recovering from his injuries, Lich Vu passed away in October 2025. His family continues to fight for accountability in federal Court. While there are some stories out there that the family was awarded 3 million in a settlement, the city council would have had to have voted on this, and currently I find no record of this taking place. Do you agree with how the officer conducted himself, or did he take things to far esp against a 71 year old man?

The arrogance of this sheriff knows no bounds. When Wilson Police Officer Henry pulled him over for doing 37 in a 25, Carter County Sheriff Chris Bryant’s immediate response wasn't to hand over his ID—it was to inform the officer of his rank. "I’m the sheriff. I’m not giving you my driver’s license," he says, repeatedly pointing to his badge as if the law doesn't apply to the people who enforce it. The sheer arrogance of refusing a basic request while a dashcam is rolling is wild. The irony? This wasn't a one-time thing. As this sheriff has done this more than once and his comment to the other officer was "everybody speeds", once was too much and twice was enough, the voters had seen all the needed to see. The most recent election ended in a literal tie, and his fate was decided by a "drawing of lots." His name wasn't pulled and Bryant is officially out of a job, and D.J. Long has taken over as the new Sheriff. Sometimes the "long arm of the law" eventually catches up—even to the guy wearing the badge. Good on thy voters in Oklahoma for giving this guy what was long overdue by firing him.

If you are supporting Graham Platner because “he’s the nominee,” you’re no better than the Republicans who fall in line behind Trump. You’re also a perfect example of why people like me don’t want to be Democrats anymore.

Graham Platner is playing a character, directed by out-of-touch consultants, who think they can pluck a guy from obscurity who “fits the profile” to win back the working-class white men the party has lost

The tattoo is a bigger problem than people realize, on an electoral level. It's the first thing major news networks are running with, now that this is a national race. People are under the impression Democrats are running a Nazi in Maine.

@RonFilipkowski Hi there, a Mainer here. I don't give a shit about what outsiders think of our candidates, but I think Graham is a racist, anti-Semitic misogynist, so pass that on, okay? And I am a Democrat.

I can assure you that people in Maine don’t give a shit about what anyone outside Maine thinks about their candidates for office. Pontificate all you want, but don’t think it will have any impact at all on the actual voting.

The law requires that when someone is in custody, they must receive necessary medical care. In 2022, LaShawn Thompson was found dead in Fulton County Jail, covered in bed bugs and lice. That horrific tragedy should have led to significant reform. But, Rashaad Muhammad’s pleas were reportedly ignored, too. How many more tragedies before change and accountability?

🚨An ICE agent illegally pulled over a car in Farmingdale, Maine… without probable cause… and tried to tell people, legally in the U.S., that they don’t have the right to stay. The agent says, on video, “Just because you came to this country and applied for asylum… doesn’t mean you get to stay here.” Except… it literally does. That’s not an opinion. That’s the law. If you apply for asylum, you have a legal right to remain in the United States while your case is processed. Period. So what just happened here? An armed federal agent pulled over a vehicle, without probable cause, misstated the law, and tried to intimidate people out of rights they legally have. That’s a constitutional violation. The Fourth Amendment requires probable cause to stop and detain someone. You don’t get to pull people over just because you feel like it or because of who they are. And Maine law enforcement has already made this clear in other cases… if there’s no probable cause, you don’t get to hold someone. That’s a basic constitutional protection. Then there’s due process… Asylum seekers are in a legal process. They are not “illegal” for being here. The government itself allowed them in while their cases are pending. So, when an ICE agent tells them they don’t have the right to stay… That’s not just wrong, that’s the government lying about your rights to your face. And when the people in the car pushed back… when they actually knew the law… The agent left. Because he never had the legal authority to begin with. This is the pattern we keep seeing… People with legal status being stopped, questioned, detained, or targeted anyway. Even recent reporting out of Maine shows asylum seekers, with no criminal records, being stopped during enforcement operations, and taken. They test the line… cross it… and hope nobody notices. That’s how intimidation works. And no one is holding them accountable.
