Show me a single Bond movie where it ends with him getting saved by a woman and failing his mission.
Getting momentary advantage in a situation isn't being defeated. He always either had a plan, outsmarted them or came out on top to complete the mission. Not some woman making him fail his mission.

I take it back. They do in fact still allow damsels in modern entertainment. James Bond, 007 gets rescued by a woman . Now I'm sure the usual suspects will say there's nothing wrong with it because "the writers said she's better than Bond". And that is the sort of mindless consumer discourse that now plagues the industry. "It's written therefore it is"... nevermind how utterly absurd it is.
Not simple because it's a slap in the face to Ian Fleming but because it defies all logic. The physical strength it requires to make that trip twice, free Bond from the exo-skeketon suit that he couldn't wrestle free from and then to lift a grown man out of the water, would be improbable for this 90lb woman. But this is the fantasy that modern entertainment wants to sell. One where men are weak and incompetent.
Now a few simps will grovel at the chance because they are desperate and she gives them a little kiss as their doggy treat. These are the men we need to be wary of and gatekeep from these franchises.
This is not James Bond, this is a female romantacy novel with Bond slapped on the title.

Muchos jugadores están compartiendo clips completando misiones de coche manteniendo prácticamente un único botón pulsado, con el juego haciendo casi todo el trabajo por ellos.
La crítica está siendo especialmente dura porque IO Interactive llevaba años hablando de la importancia de las mecánicas de conducción para reflejar la esencia de Bond. Incluso aseguraron haber traído "talento fresco con experiencia específica en driving" para construir las misiones de coche, lo que hace que la decepción sea aún mayor.
Las redes han bautizado el juego como "journo game" en tono irónico, comparando estas secciones con sistemas tan automáticos que parecen pensados para que cualquiera pueda terminar el juego sin esfuerzo. Algo difícil de digerir viniendo del estudio responsable de Hitman, una saga reconocida por dar libertad y profundidad al jugador.
Por si fuera poco, varios análisis profesionales (como el de TechRadar) coinciden con esta crítica, describiendo las mecánicas de coche como "tackeadas" y poco dinámicas. Mientras tanto, el juego está marcado con 88 en Metacritic, así que el resto de mecánicas sí han convencido a la prensa.

The game is easily 15 hours most of which require significant input and involvement. Most set pieces are linear this isn't new.

Wow. I may have spoken too soon. There are SERIOUS PROBLEMS with 007 First Light. If you personally thought Black MoneyPenny was the worst thing about it, just wait. Here is a montage of everything that ACTUALLY SUCKS... I'm only halfway through but I might 180 on this game by the end of it.

No, we hate it because it doesn't have any of the dynamism or challenge of the older games. Goldeneye is the absolute most basic example you could have picked, too. Other Bond games had driving and melee combat that weren't just on-rails cinematic garbage.

Bond “fans” are finally given a game where they don’t have to shoot everything for the whole storyline and properly makes use of the improvisation and social aspects of bond yet they hate it. Listen the older games are fantastic but they aren’t enough to capture the experience.
