My biggest losses always come after I book a big win and think I'm god and size up stupidly into something
Some examples
1) Sold bored ape + mutants for 240 ETH, rolled it all into an XCOPY 1/1 which ended up being $900k~, sold the 1/1 for $300k in the same year for tax purposes
2) Turned 10 SOL into 2500+ SOL with BOME, rolled $500k into Blast farming (rip YIELD) which returned $75k
3) Bought 2 Nouns after selling art blocks and punks for a combined 200+ ETH, sold for 60 ETH combined within a year
Advice I need to hear for myself is, after I book a big win, simply enjoy it and keep position sizes standard without developing another god complex and subsequent humbling

im going to regret this, but
with a few exceptions, people on "the list" have been proactive about asking via comments or DMs. i rarely check msg requests (for those i'm not already following)

Let's check in on the plan a few months later
1) I've lost 2 ETH leverage trading
2) sold 10% of liquid holdings in January when I was euphoric and prices were lower. Haven't sold since.
3) tax money is parked in treasuries, 10% sold in january is parked in yield farms
4) slow and steady stacking a rainy day art fund. Recently picked up a Botto 1/1 with some of the funds.
5) NFT bag still needs to go up 3x+ 🤣
6) never heavy in shitcoins (which has been max pain over the last week)
7) only made three angel investments in last year and they're high conviction bets

For me, basic things are: - never leverage (I know myself too well) - 10% of liquid holdings sold anytime I screenshot and send to group chat - tax money parked in treasuries, not UST - keep 10% of post tax profit for art I love - if NFT bag ever reaches 8 figures again, half is being market dumped without second guessing - never more than 5% of liquid crypto stack in < 10M mcap shitcoins - never more than 5% in angel investments I only need a 5x this cycle to comfortably fuck off. I know the game I’m playing. This isn’t 2021 where I’m trying to turn nothing into everything. It’s ok to be defensive and hold boring blue chips with 80%+ of the portfolio.

NFTs get airdropped or claimed after drawing. If you don’t “win” the money you deposited is refunded

@pronewchaos @Deploydon @intern_nft @Aston_Tan @HellCatsNFT this same behavior happened on ETH. will continue to happen everywhere there is easy profit to be made. most projects on ETH have ended up switching to dutch auctions and/or raffles for all mint spots. seems to be the only way to have a somewhat ‘fair mint’ when bots are present.
