If that addict on your street were your own son, what would you do? That is the defining question that guides my 5 step plan to fix the homelessness problem in LA. We *must* end this evil racket of corrupt politicians and NGOs who profit off the misery of these poor souls. They launder money and feed them more drugs, so they can keep their customers locked in this hell on our streets. We have a moral obligation from God to help them and make our city safe and clean for everyone. Karen Bass and Nithya Raman have forsaken this city. Time for real leadership. Time for real compassion.

It was a great weekend, and then we went back to bickering. We had just had Nixon resign. People were just realizing what happened to the returning soldiers. We were in the gas/oil crisis because of the Arab Oil Embargo. We had inflation, high unemployment, and skyrocketing interest rates. NYC was told no bailout from the feds and went bankrupt. In spite of all this turmoil, we still talked to each other and didn't drop friends based on their party affiliation.

It is absolutely deplorable that ESPN, NBC, ABC, TNT, all of the 3 & 4 letter TV networks actively strip fans of hearing this live. It’s like going to a concert, but when the singer stops singing, you can’t hear the crowd singing in their place. Shameful.

Calling home person to person with code names to inform your parents that you had arrived, needed money or come pick you up. Those phone calls were expensive and doing this saved you the cost of the call. You ask the operator for a person to person for Homer Jones your parents would say he wasn’t there so no charge and your parents would know to come pick you up.

Good morning, Generation Jones. ☕️ Yesterday’s conversation was so much fun that I woke up thinking about all the things only our generation would understand. High school was a blast then. We passed notes instead of texts. Had actual cruising spots. Memorized phone numbers. Listened to the radio waiting for our song to come on. And somehow survived without GPS, Google, or anyone knowing where we were 24/7. 🤣 We really did grow up in two completely different worlds, and I think that’s why so many of us connected yesterday. Gary Carter was a Baseball Hall Of Fame player for the Expos not the Mets. Did he help them win a World Series, sure, but he had one great season and one good season statistically for the Mets. His knees couldn’t hold up. Go look at his Stats. Mets Hall of Fame, he deserved that but number retirement is another level. That belongs to someone who has had significant seasons of excellence. This is no knock or slight on Gary Carter he gave Mets 10.5 WAR in those first two seasons and a World Series win but catching is very hard on the body and he had very little left to give after that.

I watched farmers, generational landowners, and members of the Copake, New York community defend their town against the Office of Renewable Energy Siting (ORES) this past winter. These people took to the stand to share photos of their grandparents before them who started the farms they still work today. The bureaucrats dispatched out of Albany held court from their town hall, not allowing anyone there to address them directly or ask questions about the solar project. This is the dismantling of democracy in real-time for “green” energy.
