Ironic how Anthropic sells Claude Code security reviews positioned as something v powerful (costing $15-25 per PR review), and being clear they use it on all PRs... then leaking all of Claude Code's code thanks to publishing their sourcemap. AI won't save you from yourself!

@emieljanson I needed to fix a lot of things like DRM, Volume Curves, Remove bloated stuff I don't need, etc. The App runs against my rockebilly.com webservice. There you configure what you like to have on the box.

@emieljanson I got the firmware for the board and then pulled it appart to get everything working. The main thing is a home/kiosk app. You don't see anything of the android system besides Wifi and Bluetooth settings. I got a boot logo and animation and now even a small app store.

This is INSANE, Meta is reportedly preparing one of the biggest layoffs in tech. Meta is preparing major layoffs as AI costs explode. - Meta is discussing cuts of up to 20% of its workforce - The company has 79,000 employees, meaning 15,000+ jobs could be impacted - Leaders have been told to prepare reduction plans - Cuts are meant to offset massive spending on AI infrastructure and data centers - Meta is offering huge pay packages to recruit top AI researchers - Mark Zuckerberg says AI can let one engineer do work that used to require entire teams Meanwhile, Meta is racing to catch up with OpenAI and Google Meta is cutting thousands of jobs while spending billions on ai. this is the ai transition in big tech.

After two months of heavy "coding" with AI agents, I have one conclusion: if your codebase already exists, is fully human-written, and you use agents to add or improve features, it works great. However, when you try to create something new from scratch, they tend to add so much overcomplicated spaghetti code that it's hard to maintain in the long run. No matter which coding model you use, sooner or later, you'll hit a wall you can't break through.

Anyone and everyone working in security engineering or caring about security have their work cut out for them We’re so early in AI agents pushing code to prod without human intervention - but prompt injections are already spreading like wildfire. Infecting high-profile projects

> The attacker got the npm token by injecting a prompt into a GitHub issue title, which an AI triage bot read, interpreted as an instruction, and executed.

On one end, the Anthropic team is a massive user of AI to write code (80%+ of all code deployed is written by Claude Code). They ship amazingly fast. On the other hand, seeing these beyond terrible reliability numbers suggests there might be a downside to all this speed:

@github Where are my review requests gone? I usually can go to github.com/pulls and then on "review requests". But that one opens the prs I have created. And I see this green "preview" button. thanks for the preview but I rather have a working product.

Had a thought last night: #OpenClaw has currently 228k stars. Each of those staring users can be resolved to a email address via the github api. I wonder, how many of those might have their inbox open to prompt injections? Is that to easy? @steipete

Do you realize just how much fucking money OpenAI and Anthropic have raised? Do you realize how much is at stake? They cannot become commoditized intelligence accessed via API They mathematically and strategically must attack the application layer

Hardware isn’t hard ❤️ I love vertically integrated hardware + software systems 🔥
Luke Knight@lukeknight

Julien Bek, partner @sequoia hasn't invested in hardware for a decade due to the difficulty of scaling physical products compared to software why @JulienBek is now bullish: - better infrastructure exists now: It's easier to build hardware companies today than it was 10 years ago - broader applications: physical AI touches the real world more extensively than digital ai, even if adoption will be slower - killer use cases are already there: autonomous driving already in production + humanoids emerging the moment is closer than people think
