Today we honor the passing of mum. A lady who served 54 years as a dedicated and passionate #nurse with the @SouthernHSCT. Mum passed away peacefully in @CraigavonHosp in the presence of her loving family and colleagues.

I wonder if 17 yr old working class Cheryl from a single parent family, with no money, would choose a career in the arts in 2023. Somehow in 1992 it was more feasible, inclusive and viable to have a career as an opera singer. 30 years later and we’ve really regressed. Dire.
