If: - The pub had closed as per the rules, -if The pub had not served alcohol to minors as per the rules, -if The showroom had not delivered the car without registration as per the rules, - if Parents had not allowed their minor child to drive the car as per the rules, - if Traffic police had acted on the car, then these two young lives would not have been lost on road. Might have been spared. Ordinarily traffic police are quick to penalize us for minor infraction they aggressively fine us for not wearing helmets, not carrying licenses, or PUc certificates. So, why didn't they take action on a flashy car without a number plate speeding on a deserted road at night? Moreover, when the police arrest the culprit who destroyed two families, they provide him with biryani, pizza, and burgers behind closed doors. The height of shamelessness is that a legislator comes forward to save the accused and tries to cover up the case. According to Pune Mirror/Punekar News, Vadgaon Sheri MLA Sunil Tingre is the one who tried to fabricate that the accused was not driving, but the eyewitnesses rejected this. If true, such individuals should be expelled from their party. I don't know the deceased, but this could happen to you or me tomorrow. So, we must speak up. At least, we should stand tall before this hardened system. The Pune Police Commissioner has taken serious note of the immediate bail granted.
