@mguri6 Here you go. Nothing special, just hard to see what to do with the logs.

@gcsemathstutor I’m more interested to know how’s the implementation in the classroom?

The topics weren’t chosen randomly. We analysed: ✅ our past exam papers ✅ question-level data ✅ common errors across multiple years We asked: What are the “easy wins”? Which topics students don’t see often enough but regularly forget? Those became the backbone of PRIME. 7/12

There are two ways starter activities usually get used in schools. ⌛️One is random questions thrown together each lesson. 📈The other is a systematic routine that actually builds long-term learning. Most departments end up with the first. Our maths department built the second. It’s reduced teacher workload, improved coherence across classes, and strengthened students’ retention of key topics. Here’s the system 👇 1/12

@gcsemathstutor I’m liking your posts lately! Are the students allowed to take the booklets home or you storage them in the classroom? Some of the questions I saw, look proper exam questions and if we follow that 1 minute per mark logic, I guess they may need minimum 10-15 minutes to complete

@mguri6 pretty much as I suggested. In anther thread I clarified that that 'mistake' was more of a fascinating misconception brought about by earlier teaching, one that an AI wouldn't make. So they absolutely all did everything they were supposed to, but also something really unexpected, but entirely explicable once you see it. Going to write a post on it eventually.

Just got off a call with one of our Champion teachers. Attached was what he assigned his Year 10 Set 3 class (set 3 of 5) for homework - expand and simplify fully. Ten students have handed in their homework early to see if they got it right. (Spoiler: they all got it right.) In his words, ‘six months ago there’s no way they would have attempted something like this.’ Find out more about what I mean by Champion teacher 👇

I’ve spent 10 years teaching math to machine learning engineers. 80% of university math is irrelevant to your actual job. Luckily, I've created a FREE roadmap to teach you the 20% you actually need. Like, retweet, and comment "roadmap" and I'll DM you the link.

How reliable is AI? A cautionary tale, using Julia Donaldson’s ‘Fox’s socks’ as an example.🧵 I think we can all agree this book is a banger. Rarely out of bedtime reading rotation in the Bennett household for about two years.

@StudyMaths Interested to see how the conversation will go like . Let’s say they observe x=10, then what? Although to find two numbers with a product of -160 and total of 6 is pretty obvious.

Before you blindly rearrange, factorise then solve, it might be better to slow down and ask yourself: "What do you notice?" mathsbot.com/cpd
