@Cmoe34 Subsidies don’t work if there’s no rent control. My building here on Hennepin Ave near downtown just instituted a 50% rent hike effective September 1st. 50%. I can take that, but most people cannot. This system is draining people’s resources and forcing people into homelessness.

First, attack the policy, not the person. People need to grow up. Second, in a city that has experienced unimaginable destruction and racial tension, these policies would send the city another 10 steps back. MPLS needs to be rebuilt, this will do the opposite. Pray for wisdom.
