Cabin crew report sick to dekho apna desh for a yr 🤨 An 🇮🇳 carrier's response to a person reporting sick: "In interest of ur well-being, u assigned for domestic flights for 12 months.... U will remain in same time zone, with shorter flying time... bring discipline to ur rest"

@adityakalra As a kid, aged 7, I was once entertained by a very very senior Capt and FO pair to visit the cockpit. That seeded a dream. 15 yrs later I worked towards it. Jump to 3 decades later, im very proudly flying a massive next gen aircraft and continuing the trend to inspire kids.

I've sought clarity from India's regulator on Air India pilots allowing a teenage passenger into the cockpit & briefly shutting the cockpit door after landing & parking in Delhi. AI manual, as per a pilot, says "Customers are NOT permitted into the flight deck at all times". Are kids exempted?

Fliers - digest this. Air India Flight 132 (London–Bengaluru) was flown despite a known defect: “The left fuel control switch slips from RUN to CUTOFF does not lock.” This is a Boeing 787. This is 7 months after a major crash, same issue, same aircraft type. Is this how Air India treats safety? - What pressure is forcing pilots to fly aircraft they clearly shouldn’t? Are the under o much pressure from the airline that they throw caution to the wind? -Can AI pilots even refuse a flight anymore — or are passengers and crew the collateral damage? - Most pilots say they wouldn’t step into that aircraft!! So why was AI132 airborne ? @airindia

@TRE_320 Guilty! Infact, day before, i said that by mistake in the neighboring FIR 🙈🙈🙈 That's when i realised i gotta stop saying it! P.S. local Greetings is a global thing. Here, we atleast stick to english unlike EU,Far east and Africsn dest where they use local language on Freq.

@TRE_320 And this is purely my perspective. It all boils down to priorities and personal preferences. Having said that, wishing you a very happy republic day!

@TRE_320 To escape from 40% charity. (Or working 7 months for family and 5 months for charity) I wouldn't blame them, if they choose better returns of work! Anyways, that still brings in money to the country, so its a win win. (24-25 Fiscal has seen the highest remittance ever) Cheers

Happy Republic Day folks 🫡 Although I’m a bit unsure how to celebrate cos the people around me either want to immigrate or are already NRI’s while I choose not to… #HappyRepublicDay #justsaying

@TRE_320 Irony is is paying 1/4th the salary and then asking the govt to stop them from leaving so they can continue exploiting them. Irony is saying you dont have enough pilots to follow the new fdtl and then cutting pilot salaries and leave for flying less. Irony is holding pax hostage

@TRE_320 Starting early isn't a boon, but a curse. Its very difficult to value something that comes easy (unless you are humble). I don't ever wish hardships on anyone but that is what builds character and makes one mature and responsible. (I might be wrong, but that's my perspective)

I once called up an ex colleague to speak about his son whose insta post I saw which I knew would get him into serious trouble. “My son wouldn’t listen and he tested BA+ twice and has been sacked”. He would say….“Papa don’t worry I know my limits”. The anguish of a parent seeing his train wreck of a child is like a knife straight into the heart 💔 #pilot #pilotlife #TrueStory

@TRE_320 New pilots need to be given career advice, lifestyle advice, financial and legal awareness prior to release on line. It's very easy for them to get carried away in the early part of the journey ( doesn't mean that old timers can't screw it up)

2022: No salary increase 2023: No salary increase 2024: No salary increase 2025: No salary increase 2026 : Employee: Please accept my resignation. Boss: You’re doing great. Why are you resigning? Employee: I accepted an offer with a 95% base salary increase and guaranteed yearly salary cycles as long as I meet my performance goals set by my manager. 48 hours later... Boss: We will match the 95%, please stay, we need your work! Employee: Unfortunately, it’s too late. Friday is my last day. Leaders of organizations need to understand their teams’ motivation every month. Every employee is motivated by different things in different periods. Take care of your good employees before it is too late

In the 90’s I gave a Boeing performance paper where Q4 was to work out a MTOW with Anti Skid under MEL (5 marks) which took 2 sheets of paper. Q5 was using above data work out thrust and speeds on a wet runway (10 marks). 9 out of 10 people worked out a 5 page answer while 1 chap wrote “ you can’t take off on a wet runway with Anti Skid on MEL “. He passed while 5 others failed. This fault line in our psyche where we lack conviction in our decisions has been exploited for years by teachers where the solution is the most obvious but we complicate everything because our minds cannot process how a simple solution can be the answer in a complex exam. There is a lesson in there…..somewhere 👨🏻‍✈️ #pilot #pilotlife #Training #SafetyFirst
