What happens when brands throw untested logistics methods on customers? Ordered cat food from @HUFT_India Been ordering from them for years. Last 6 months they are incredibly frustrating in logistics - but they are the ones always in stock with items I need. Order placed on May 2 afternoon. They have some new hyperlocal shipping through @ShiprocketIndia called SR Quick. Order delivery was booked by HUFT through ShipRocket via @rapidobikeapp Delivery Executive - RAMESH KHAIRWAR (8169707033) This Ramesh fellow reached somewhere near Marve and claimed HUFT has entered the location wrong. He was 8 kms away from our home in Madh and demanding I immediately come to pick up the order or pay extra. I refused - told him to return the order to merchant. He gave me the choicest maa behen gaalis and hung up. Neither HUFT, ShipRocket or Rapido want anything to do with the order now. Permanently on 48 hrs. Sucks to be at the end of this as a brand owner myself. (But it's the way it is in last mile logistics today. Last month a custom of ours got abused by a logistics delivery agent in Trivandrum, led to a minor ruckus in our customer support.) But, generally a note of caution on any ShipRocket services if you are a D2C brand, I have avoided this company for 3 years now specifically because of this. They are the champions in rolling out untested stuff without any safeguards.
