🚨 COUNCIL MADNESS: FATHER OF TWO SLAPPED WITH £1,000 FLY-TIPPING FINE… FOR PUTTING AN EMPTY ENVELOPE IN A LITTER BIN! Nidas Ratkevicius, 47, from Hounslow, dropped a single empty envelope into a public bin. Council traced it back to him via his name and address and hit him with a massive £1,000 penalty notice for “fly-tipping”. He said: “It’s like taking bread from my family… £1,000 is huge. I thought it was a joke.” Hounslow Council defended its “zero tolerance” policy, claiming fly-tipping costs £4 million a year in taxpayers’ money. Fine has now been paused.

@Comptonlovee @BluEnterpris @jk_rowling Yeah by putting race into it they now have to take it out of it. Nobody's motives against Snape are racial and it'd cheapen him if they fell into using tropes. Really hope they pull it off. Has the potential to show a character who is black is more than just a "black character".

@mi22ors @BluEnterpris @jk_rowling The Marauders on the other hand could definitely come off as a bunch of racists if not done correctly. I think a black Lupin is a great idea and hopefully they also show more of Snape’s hatred of them and how James is jealous of Snape and Lily’s relationship.

@jimmycarr Look we all have to agree on a concensus and I believe trimesters should be used as a guide: 1st (weeks 1-12): Elective abortions 2nd (weeks 13-27): Medical abortions (congenital fetal anomaly, rare) 3rd (weeks 28-40): No abortions (unless emergency/mother's life at risk)

The 2000 remake of "Gone in 60 Seconds" is a perfect example of what they took from us. Nicolas Cage is a hot-shot car thief who commands respect. His mom loves him. His brother loves him. Even the cops on his trail admire him. Angelina Jolie is the ONE female lead and she loves the hero too. The late Robert Duvall plays his mentor and loves him too. When his brother’s life is threatened, he assembles a team of elite badasses who must steal 50 cars in a single night. 97% of the cast is male. All the manly virtues are on display—redemption, loyalty, courage, honor. Epic car chases and explosions dominate the screen. No girlbosses interfere with the story. All the men survive EXCEPT the bad guy. And here's the important part: IT'S FUN. It’s a simple formula that pleased blockbuster audiences for decades. Why do they keep breaking it?

@Comptonlovee @BluEnterpris @jk_rowling My main worry is that Snape is meant to be weird and untrustworthy. Like a brooding menace who Harry is scared of. Bringing race into it is a can of worms they didn't need to open. I dunno, hopefully it works. They could make Lupin black so that the Marauders look less KKK lol.

@mi22ors @BluEnterpris @jk_rowling I’m not going to lie I thought he looked exactly like Harry Potter minus the green eyes, which honestly didn’t bother me. I understand that they are trying to just find good actors to play a role there’s only so many options out there.

@Comptonlovee @BluEnterpris @jk_rowling I cared that Daniel Radcliffe didn't look enough like Harry Potter. Too round in the face, hair and eyes weren't right etc. Still bothers me. This new show seems to have done a better job with many of the castings, but Snape... yeah that's a whole new direction. We'll see.

James Gunn on why he only race swaps white characters: "That’s pretty simple. Because 95% of all superheroes have historically been white it makes sense as we start adapting them to film in the modern era that some characters who were originally white become another ethnicity to more accurately reflect our world. In most cases, it would not make sense to take a character originally another ethnicity and make them white because there are already so many white superheroes.” Should this have disqualified him from running DC?

When I lock my doors at night, it’s not because I hate the people outside… It’s because I love the people inside. That’s how borders should be viewed. Protection isn’t hatred. Security isn’t “racist”, and putting your own people first should never be controversial. But somehow… we’ve been conditioned to think it is. Society has been tricked into believing that common sense is something to be ashamed of. It isn’t, it’s survival.

@Scott_Wiener It's also a felony to have sex!!!! I mean technically it's only a felony if it's non-concensual or if they're under the age of consent. Just like your example isn't really about using a toilet but a male entering a female safe space... but who cares about context, right?

There's a single gut microbe that influences your mood, your sleep, your skin, and even your muscle mass. 96% of people have lost it. Scientists just discovered it triggers your body to produce the "Love Hormone" oxytocin. Not in your brain, but in your gut. The microbe is called Lactobacillus reuteri (L. reuteri). It used to live in nearly every human gut on Earth. Today - Antibiotics, processed food, and modern living have wiped it out of almost everyone. If you've taken even one round of antibiotics in your life, Yours is probably gone. Researchers at Baylor College of Medicine made a stunning discovery. They found that oxytocin - The hormone linked to mood, bonding, stress relief, and healing - is produced in your small intestine. Not just your brain. Your gut. And L. reuteri is what can trigger its release. How does it work? L. reuteri stimulates special cells in your intestinal lining to release a hormone called secretin. Secretin then signals nearby cells called enterocytes to produce and secrete oxytocin. Your gut is literally manufacturing one of the most powerful hormones in your body. And - It's published science. The Baylor team confirmed it using human intestinal tissue, gene expression data, and lab-grown intestinal cultures. The highest concentration of oxytocin-producing cells? The small intestine. Dr. William Davis - the physician who wrote "Wheat Belly" and "Super Gut" ... figured out how to grow L. reuteri at home using a simple fermentation process. Not a pill Not a supplement A highly concentrated probiotic food you make yourself. Here's what people are reporting after restoring L. reuteri: - Deep, uninterrupted sleep - Reduced anxiety and improved mood - Thicker hair and younger-looking skin - Increased muscle mass (even without heavy exercise) - A 50% rise in testosterone in men over 50 - Faster wound healing - Restored libido MIT researchers tested it in mice. The ones given L. reuteri stayed lean, kept their fur, mated, and aged gracefully. The control group (same diet, no L. reuteri) - Got fat, lost their hair, stopped mating, and died early. Same crappy diet. Completely different outcome. Why? Because L. reuteri does something most probiotics can't. It colonizes your entire small intestine - ALL 24 feet of it. It produces natural antibiotics called bacteriocins that kill harmful bacteria. And it prevents the toxic migration of fecal microbes into your upper gut. When those bad microbes invade the small intestine, they release toxins into your bloodstream. That's called endotoxemia. It drives weight gain, brain fog, type 2 diabetes, cognitive decline - And is now being linked to multiple forms of the Big C. L. reuteri helps stop that at the source. The key? Dr. Davis found that fermenting L. reuteri at 99°F for 36 hours produces roughly 300 billion microbes per serving. More than 30X a typical supplement. A half cup a day is the protocol. I've been saying for 30 years: your mood, your anxiety, your energy - It starts in the gut. When I healed my gut, my crippling anxiety disappeared. Not from medication. From fixing the actual cause. Now science is catching up. And L. reuteri is one of the biggest reasons why. Comment GUIDE and I'll send you a FREE guide on how to make unlimited probiotics at home.

It’s another one of those instances in which the words JK Rowling used to describe Emma Watson not that long ago are very much applicable here. Andrew Garfield is simply “ignorant of how ignorant he is.” And what is this “inhumane legislation” he’s talking about? Not wanting biological men to compete in sports like boxing against biological women is somehow a bad thing? It's inhumane? Andrew’s brain has been warped by Hollywood groupthink.
Oli London@OliLondonTV

Andrew Garfield takes jab at J.K. Rowling over her trans views; says he watches Harry Potter even though it’s “controversial.” “I know it’s controversial and we shouldn’t be putting money in the pocket of inhumane legislation right now through she that shall remain nameless…There are so many beautiful artists that worked on those films. I have a newfound appreciation for all of the artists.” Source: Variety

@Jaydee_Old_Boy @TudorRose791533 @TheDailyHPotter We've been taught that being colourblind is racist though. We have to SEE colour and be conscious about it. Look I 100% agree it shouldn't, but it will to both "racists" and those woke to racism. It's an issue of their own making. Snape is meant to be sallow, pallid and weird.

@mi22ors @TudorRose791533 @TheDailyHPotter To racists it might open up that reason... To normal people they wouldn't instantly think he's being bullied because of his race when there's Zero evidence of racial motive. When people are bullied over race it's very obvious...

@Jaydee_Old_Boy @TudorRose791533 @TheDailyHPotter No, it opens up that reason. Especially if he is the only black character (in a major role). I guess if Lupin or Pettigrew were black it would take that accusation away. Obvs James Potter can't. The Black family wouldn't work. Pettigrew would be too negative. Lupin would work.
