It's finally here. A journey I started all the way back in January 2016 on the first Spider-verse. I have always felt and continue to feel incredibly lucky to have been one part of truly a mountain of the greatest artists I've ever known. I'm so proud of this killer story team!!

A statement from the family of Alex Pretti, obtained by CNN: "We are heartbroken but also very angry. Alex was a kindhearted soul who cared deeply for his family and friends and also the American veterans whom he cared for as an ICU nurse at the Minneapolis VA hospital. Alex wanted to make a difference in this world. Unfortunately he will not be with us to see his impact. I do not throw around the hero term lightly. However his last thought and act was to protect a woman. The sickening lies told about our son by the administration are reprehensible and disgusting. Alex is clearly not holding a gun when attacked by Trump’s murdering and cowardly ICE thugs. He has his phone in his right hand and his empty left hand is raised above his head while trying to protect the woman ICE just pushed down all while being pepper sprayed. Please get the truth out about our son. He was a good man. Thank you."

BREAKING: @AOC just completely went off on Trump after ICE murdered Alex Pretti. "Donald Trump [is] accusing a Veteran Affairs ICU nurse (Alex Pretti) as being a terrorist against the United States. A man who was treating services members to our country, who was dedicating his life to serving Americans. Who in his final act on this earth was helping a woman pushed to the ground. And they are calling him a Domestic Terrorist, in order to defend their gross abuse of power, their absolute breaching of the law and in order to precipitate greater conflict."

They hate us immigrants so much they are willing to kill those who they should see as “their own” in order to continue the cruelty. Truly evil.

MURDER

Look at these images. Do you know why the train tracks and the water trail are slightly on the right and not in the middle? Or seen from above? Or why shown at all? Why does the giant creature occupy most of the shot, but the top part is cropped out? Why isn't the smaller character in the middle? Why are all the cats overlapping? Because the person that made those is an artist. It's not about the fact that this was done by hand, nor because they know what strokes on paper give the illusion of a human shape or a forest. An artist has a clear vision that 99% of humans don't have. It's a gift from the Gods. This vision allows them to choose how to represent anything, how to design. This is not just "A shot of little girls on the wing of a plane near a group of pilots", it's THE shot that the artist envisioned and fought with litterally nature to be able to obtain as true to their vision as possible. You don't know what it means to have a vision. You will never know. Vision is life. Don't insult life.
