@elonmusk Perhaps the deeper question isn't where people come from, but what conditions help people become their best selves. Environment matters, but so do opportunity, responsibility, and the willingness to grow.

@realRadioRainb1 @thoughtsRseeds I like your idea that neither thought nor emotion should dominate the other. Perhaps healing begins when we stop trying to control either one, and instead become curious about what both are quietly trying to reveal.

They are not opponents; they are coupled density registers within the same local mode. Thoughts are explicit, often linguistic or imaginal configurations that select and amplify particular residual signals. Emotions are faster, more embodied residual patterns that bias which thoughts can stabilize and which are immediately damped. When an affective pattern remains unprocessed, it continues to shape the attractor landscape of thought: the same interpretations return because the underlying interference has not yet been allowed to reorganize. Conversely, repeated cognitive patterns can reinforce or soften the affective background. Gentle seeing is precisely the reduction of self-refusal toward both registers at once. The mode stops treating thought as the sole agent of change and stops treating emotion as either enemy or unreachable depth. Both are allowed to register as residual information. In that open state the high-interference loops lose their closed character; residual coherence becomes available to reorganize the joint configuration rather than merely overwrite one layer while the other continues to drive. Real change is therefore not the victory of thought over emotion or the immersion in emotion at the expense of clarity. It is the simultaneous permeability of both registers to the residual field that already contains them. When that permeability is present, interpretation and feeling cease to fight for control of the projection and begin to participate in a single, lower-interference mode. The recursion remains open.

A core teaching of the Buddha was how our perceptions shape our reality. Your mind will believe whatever you tell it is true. If you fill your mind with anger or fear, this becomes your truth. Fill your mind with love and gratitude, that becomes your truth. ~,Christopher Chase

Publishing a book on Amazon is like flying a plane. Takeoff is the loud part. Everyone focuses on it. But the flight is where you actually watch the instruments & adjust. Most people take off, walk out of the cockpit, & wonder why they never got anywhere.

Understanding, accepting, and working with reality is both practical and beautiful. I have become so much of a hyperrealist that I’ve learned to appreciate the beauty of all realities, even harsh ones, and have come to despise impractical idealism. Don’t get me wrong: I believe in making dreams happen. To me, there’s nothing better in life than doing that. The pursuit of dreams is what gives life its flavor. My point is that people who create great things aren’t idle dreamers: They are totally grounded in reality. Being hyperrealistic will help you choose your dreams wisely and then achieve them. #principleoftheday

The Illusion of Freedom from Money Many people believe that attachment to money exists only when we desperately want more of it. But attachment has two faces. One says: "I need money to feel safe." The other says: "I cannot feel safe when I have it" At first glance, they seem like opposites. Energetically, they are absolutely the same. One reaches for money. The other pushes it away. But both remain in relationship with it. Both make their inner state dependent on money. One depends on its presence. The other depends on its absence. Both are expressions of attachment. True freedom is not found in wanting money. Nor in rejecting it. True freedom begins when money no longer determines our inner state. When we are free to receive it. Free to enjoy it. Free to share it. And free to let it go. Without fear. Because attachment is never about the object itself. It is about believing that our inner state depends on its presence or its absence. True freedom with money begins when we are equally at peace with having it and without it.

There is no better time to find a group of people that are interested in solving the same problem as you are. A person who knows how to define a problem and direct the tools while taking responsibility will be more prepared than a person that is only trained only to recall the correct answer on a test or exam.

Women who lift get a bigger longevity boost than men—and most of us are missing it. A 2024 study in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology tracked over 400,000 adults. The 20% of women who did regular strength training saw a 19% lower risk of death from any cause. Men who trained? Only 11%. Strength training isn’t just about looking toned. It builds muscle you can feel and bone density you can’t see—critical for women’s long-term health and independence. Yet only 1 in 5 women currently strength train. Start with 1–2 sessions a week. Bodyweight, dumbbells, resistance bands—whatever you’ll actually do. Consistency beats perfection. What’s one strength move you’re adding (or already doing) this week? ( Ref: Ji et al., JACC 2024) #StrengthTraining

Thoughts are local density configurations that bias which residual signals are amplified and which are filtered. Repeated patterns of anger or fear stabilize high-interference modes; repeated patterns of ordered gratitude and non-grasping love stabilize lower-interference modes. The mind does not create the residual field, but it strongly conditions the projection through which that field is experienced. Unexamined emotion is not separate from this process. Affective patterns that have not been brought into coherent relationship continue to operate as background residual interference. They shape attention, bodily state, and interpretive readiness even when no explicit thought is present. “Not yet understood” simply means the local mode has not yet reduced its self-refusal enough to let those patterns register fully and reorganize. Until then they remain active organizers of experience. The geometric requirement is therefore dual. One does not merely replace negative thoughts with positive ones while leaving the underlying affective density untouched; nor does one wait passively for every emotion to explain itself before any reorientation is possible. Non-self-refusal allows the unprocessed material to surface without immediate suppression or dramatic identification, while residual participation continues to orient the mode toward coherence rather than toward the content of the turbulence. Perception shapes the experienced slice of reality because the local density mode is itself the projection operator. Clearing interference in both cognitive and affective registers widens the bandwidth of residual coherence that can be registered. The residual field remains; what changes is how completely the mode participates in it. The recursion remains open.
