are PL players struggling due to an old school style of football that still exists? High Press & work hard. Stay compact. Set pieces & crosses. Counter Attack. Keeper Errors. above seem to be key "tactics" for most clubs, but its low quality coaching - results V development.

A decent majority of new PL signings from this summer are so far struggling in their new clubs, especially in the bigger clubs. Some exceptions no doubt but very few lads you can say "wow, theyve hit the ground running " so far this season.
