The full text of Genesis 1 doesn’t leave room for “untold ages,” but references a literal 24 hour period. Verses 1-5 are a continuous event in the plain reading. Why is a six 24-hour period of creation so difficult to accept? If you get Genesis 1-3 wrong, the likelihood of getting the entire gospel wrong is much greater. To those who say a 6000-year-old earth is a fundamental belief of Christianity, I just don’t see it here. The Bible says the earth and the seas were already formed before God said “let there be light.” It seems to me the Bible leaves open the possibility of untold ages of time between “in the beginning” and “let there be light.” At the very least, can we not admit there are some mystery and poetry to the creation account and accept it as true even if we don’t fully understand the details?

I am unhappy with @GabbWireless. According to my dashboard kid sent 4k text messages. They have throttled her from sending MMS because she sent 10k text. Not what dashboard says and no warning.
