Her name is Michele Fiore, a.k.a. “Lady Trump.” She’s a scheming, thieving, Trump-loving clump of vanity and greed. A Nevada jury has just convicted Fiore of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and six counts of wire fraud. Each count carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison. Fiore has been a Nevada Republican politician and elected official for a number of years — Trump-obsessed and MAGA-driven since 2016. Rather than using the money for the statue, Fiore spent the donations on rent, extensive plastic surgery, vacations, and her daughter’s wedding. It is notable that a significant portion of the fraudulent proceeds was spent on Fiore’s plastic surgery addiction. None of the money was spent on the memorial for the fallen officer. Michele Fiore used the tragedy of a police officer’s murder for her own profit. Once Fiore verbally attacked a fellow Nevada lawmaker — whom she called “colored” — and warned her to stop talking about “the race issue” during a hearing on a voter ID law. Fiore and four generations of her family posed for a Christmas card featuring each family member—including a young child—carrying a gun. Fiore warmly embraces and advocates on behalf of far-right fringe groups that make up the anti-government militia movement. Now facing decades in prison, Michele Fiore’s controversial and colorful life may end in a stale, gray prison cell. Fiore’s sentencing is scheduled for—wait for it—Jan. 6.
