@GerLawton @Paraic_Fanning Yes Ger and Tipp retreated back to defend what they thought was a 4 point and then 3 point lead. The scoreboard was the same for both whether right or wrong

@Paraic_Fanning Spot on Paraic. Poor handling of it on the Sunday Game but to be fair Morrissey and Canning were on the right track but not strong enough for me. KK spent minutes going for a goal when points would have done them…not good enough

Integrity of today’s semi-final was brought into question by human error but a mistake all the same. Kilkenny were seriously hard done by. They chased a goal they didn’t need. At the same time, Tipperary defended a goal they didn’t have to.

@BrophShane Remember if the scoreboard it is wrong for both teams and will change both teams approach to the final few minutes. Noel McGrath seemed to know the right score in his post match interview

This had a massive influence. Kilkenny had time to work 2 points instead of forcing a goal.
Imagine if Doyle hadn't stopped Donnelly's shot, how chaotic things would be now if Tipp thought they drew but ended up losing by a point

@ConanDoherty @Donks1982 Not yourself Conan but the agenda being pushed elsewhere is almost a grave injustice has been committed. The score affected both teams approach to the last few minutes.

@Donks1982 @ConanDoherty What people forget is it's wrong for both teams so while kk might have went for goal early Tipp probably set up defending a goal lead rather than two and maybe the scorable points don't present themselves if Tipp are defending 2

@FiFinnymac Are Tipp not dealing with the exact same scoreboard? If they think they are protecting a three point lead rather than two maybe they drop back that little further thinking they are going to be ok once they don't concede a goal 🤷 scorable points maybe aren't so scorable

Interesting how with all technology and officials this could happen.
@KilkennyCLG had at least 2 attempts at goals that were tap over points that would have taken game to extra time.
