@aurorawatchuk That will be spectacular through the kilometre thick layer of cloud above our heads.

@tinamckenz @BBCBreakfast The prospect of that red sofa early in the morning really sharpens the mind and stirs up the braincells, I recall. Good to see they still have the right people on to talk sense.
English

@BBCBreakfast this morning. Early start in Manchester. Will be talking Trump and Tariffs 🤓 red sofa time at 7.30am

@TheExtremeMusi1 No. Nobody belongs in the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame because it's nonsense.

Deeply alarming that an MP is calling for the introduction of new blasphemy laws. Concerningly, the Prime Minister offers no defense of free expression.
MPs should uphold values which are foundational to our society - not seek to dismantle them.

During PMQs today, I asked the Prime Minister to introduce measures to prohibit desecration of religious texts and targeted vilification of all the prophets of the Abrahamic faiths. As November marks Islamophobia Awareness Month, it is vital the Government takes clear and measurable steps to prevent acts that fuel hatred in society.

@AJamesMcCarthy In this "post truth" world, when I showed a neighbour a shot of the Aurora Borealis framing her very distinctive home, her immediate response was that it was an AI fake, as she hadn't seen it for herself. FF, as they say, S.

@Gunnersc0m Speed in moving the ball unpredictably beats opponents more effectively than predictably careful build up.

@Culture_Crit Possibly with two sticks and a long piece of string and some patient observation?

@NeilDotObrien That's a particularly vulgar comment @NeilDotObrien

@DanNeidle @rcolvile I've always been in favour of making voting in parliamentary elections mandatory, but this makes me wonder if voting should actually be restricted to those can pass a simple test about the way government actually works.
English

@rcolvile It seems trite and inadequate to say that we need more education around finance and tax. Right now I don't have any other suggestions.
English

@PhysInHistory It could, or not. How would you provide any evidence for it? This is otherwise just airy speculation.
English

@CarlBovisNature Autocorrect has a nasty habit with "it's" when it should be left as "its". For "it is" that's fine, but for nothing else.
English

@CarlBovisNature "of" instead of "'ve" ie "have". This is the only error for which I would impose capital punishment.
