“Hoop as much as possible. Play 5 on 5. Against live bodies. That’s more beneficial than working out by yourself all the time. My first few years I might’ve worked out at 10:00 am, but then I’m playing pickup all around the city. Outdoors, I’m playing 4-5 games of pickup just working on my instincts the whole day. 4 times a week. From like 19 years old until I’m 24. I look back and that was just way more beneficial than just getting in the gym working out by myself”

It’s so funny how NBA twitter would think of him as a better offensive player if you replaced 6 of these attempts per game with 45% midrange attempts.
People just can’t wrap their brain around how truly dominant he is at getting to the rim regardless of defense.

Giannis averaging 11.0 Rim FGM per game this season at an 83.3% clip... 2nd most per game is Jalen Johnson (6.3). There are only four other players with 5+ rim FGM per game in the entire league. Giannis in a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT STRATOSPHERE as a rim finisher.
