What a coincidence, what a cop out. Quietly on a Friday @AlboMP @AustralianLabor drop the bombshell news that the Port of Darwin is to stay leased in Chinese hands. This despite their pre-election claim they would investigate this risk to security, which was bewilderingly agreed to by a @LiberalAus NT govt. Is this a trade-off for the relief of agri trade sanctions, the release of journalist Cheng Lei, a sop before Albanese’s proposed propaganda Xi visit? How will @POTUS greet this decision? Could this Govt be more dangerous, manipulative or stupid?
