My latest side project A collection of 10 highly polished UI components. Based on Radix UI and Shadcn primitives. Open source for your next project. I hope you find them delightful to interact with. Credit to my new partner in crime Claude code. fluid-functionalism.vercel.app

@joshmillgate You currently have to click on the chrome extension icon again. Is your extension hidden and hard to go back to?

Slooow is officially live in the Chrome Web Store. It slows down any web animation (CSS, GSAP, Framer Motion…) so you can actually see what’s going on — easing, timing, polish. Perfect for motion design critique, design reviews, and UI polish sessions. Install it, open your product, set it to 0.1x, and you’ll notice things you’ve never seen before. chromewebstore.google.com/detail/slooow/…

New side project: a tiny Chrome extension to Slooow down and capture any web animation. I never open the animation devtools, but I always want to see how far a team pushed their polish. 0.1x turns every interface into a motion design critique — you see things you’d normally miss.

@charliedeets @diabrowser Got a medusa feeling with the logo 👀 but remain fully in love with the button hover.

Last week, we shipped a new @diabrowser update to friends and family. This update is a step change in functionality for Dia and we couldn’t be more excited to see what you make. You can join the beta today by entering ‘deetsman315’ into a new tab.

@0xNotthatsundar Neither: the fill is a separate absolutely positioned element, with left/width driven from the thumbs’ positions. So JS-driven layout, not CSS custom props + gradient and not clip-path.

@micka_design The filled track between two thumbs is the trickiest CSS part — you can't use a pseudo-element span, so most implementations set `--thumb-left` and `--thumb-right` as % values and use `background: linear-gradient(...)` on the track. Does yours use CSS vars or JS-driven clip-path?

Working on component cohesiveness for fluidfunctionalism.com. Sliders are really hard to get right but really enjoyable to play with (still WIP). Last version inspired by @lorenzodossi

Stress testing the SubtleTab, Checkboxes and Table components on real use cases. I want these components to be better default, every interaction should feel snappy, not sluggish.
