you'll eventually end up with the source for around 2,000+ demos from my private repo over the years 😬
it's pretty sweet to point {{ai-of-choice}} at with like "use the technique from 2024/scroll-driven-text" etc.
vijay singh@dprophecyguy
@jh3yy hey @jh3yy will you be sharing the source code for all the demos in your course ?

@mattpocockuk i’ve been using sandcastle with opus 4.6 (and 4.7) and it’s absolutely chewing through my max 5x usage. How advisable or inadvisable is sonnet? Context: Frontend heavy (designer)
English

@micka_design I’ll have a think, but concentric containers could be cool.

Analytics review of fluidfunctionalism.com
3 months after the inception of the idea.
- 19 components, 1 system page
- 358 stars and 16 forks on Github
- 9k visitors and 50k page view in the last 30 days

English

@micka_design My agent is refactoring all the components on my site to properly respect surfaces, rather than just the initial few i grabbed to try out. Excellent work my man!
English

Qualitative review:
- Meet people in real life that I didn't knew that have built on top of FF
- Presented it twice at design events in SF
- Received products links with full DS build on top of FF mindblown me
- Shadcn repost made my week last week
- Receiving messages from people building with it on a daily basis makes me SO happy
English

@kentcdodds Happy to chat. Public sector saas with customers. Micro team.
English

I'm looking for 1-2 companies for a small paid pilot.
I want to help engineering teams work through a real product-shaped decision:
ship vs refactor, customer request vs product direction, AI prototype vs production quality, roadmap vs onboarding/support/perf, etc.
The team brings the decision. I facilitate the discussion, structure the tradeoffs, and help produce a decision record they can actually use.
If your engineers are moving faster with AI but product judgment is becoming the bottleneck, I'd love to talk. I am willing to travel for an engagement like this.
English

@kvnkld How are you managing this? I’m struggling to get this level of detail and control. Great work

@mattpocockuk Will be following your adoption of Codex. Sometimes im finding success with it, i’ve just enjoyed using, and somehow trust Claude Code more.
English

This is the clarity we've been crying out for.
But it's a poisoned chalice. This is a 10X cut to claude -p disguised as a monthly bonus.
Anthropic is discouraging any kind of programmatic usage. And that's fine - no subsidy lasts forever.
But it's time to try Codex.
ClaudeDevs@ClaudeDevs
Starting June 15, paid Claude plans can claim a dedicated monthly credit for programmatic usage. The credit covers usage of: - Claude Agent SDK - claude -p - Claude Code GitHub Actions - Third-party apps built on the Agent SDK

@mattpocockuk @niklas_wortmann There was also the idea of:
/learning-opportunity
Shift AI into teaching mode when you encounter something you don’t understand.
English

@niklas_wortmann Mmm, that's nice: /teach me Effect layers or something
English

@micka_design @NotionHQ I’ve used your surfaces on a wee project i’m building, the surfaces layers slider is super handy for getting your head around it! Great work
English

Open a Dropdown on your page background: it willl render nicely.
Open the same Dropdown inside a Dialog: it will look like crap. Attached is @NotionHQ's invite teammate dropdown in a modal.
Not the case with the upcoming Surfaces principles of fluidfunctionalism.com

English

@mattpocockuk @CARLOSZIEGLER !follow for sure. I’m a designer finally getting stuck in with these workflows and it’s helping me so much! Thank you
English

@CARLOSZIEGLER Recording one now! Still in-progress though, /handoff and /prototype are not quite ready for primetime
English

@Nomandsign So each case study is entirely its own style sheets/tw install, then the rest of your site is another?
English

Pro tip: ask claude to create an interactive case study each time you build something cool

@jamesm @ridd_design Yeah, I often work in Claude or Chatgpt to give it context, and ask it to help me create a prompt for v0.
English

@ijcarson @ridd_design Honestly... I need to get better at that. What I'm doing right now is giving ChatGPT a loose idea of what I'm trying to do and asking it for a prompt. Then take it to v0
English

@jamesm @ridd_design How are you finding the language with prompting, describing what you want etc?
English

@ridd_design Haha, thanks Ridd! Still a long way to go but I'm enjoying learning this ai thing
English

@jamesm That and the continued growth of greek mythology and renaissance style works
