@andrewtwalker Sacred Harp, yes or just call it congregationial singing. It’s what we’re called to do. Every voice singing out theology. We love it because the church is crying out in one voice. It’s so refreshing. Capitol Hill Baptist Church has some great recordings on Spotify.

Serious question: I think this style of music is awesome. Is there a name for its kind? Are there albums to stream featuring this type of singing? Forgive my ignorance, sincerely. It needs to make a comeback.

@FranchiseMnA Expensive, no doubt. The two rooms at the Polynesian are what's getting you. We've taken many trips. In May, we stayed at Margaritaville Cottages Orlando. So much room. We have 3 boys. It's a 2 room condo to yourselves. Full kitchen. Private hot tub. 10 mins from WDW.

Wife is planning a Disney trip for the fam Travel agent is saying its going to be over $12,000+ 2 Rooms at the Polynesian plus passes, etc. Am I being scammed or is Disney really this obnoxiously expensive?

@elonmusk @CathieDWood You should throw your hat in this ring. The doctors talked about this in 2017 when we lost our daughter to leukemia. It just wasn't far enough along at that time. You could shake things up and make this move faster!

Last month, BBC reported that GOSH, a research hospital in the UK, base edited the genome of a 12-year-old girl, Alyssa, suffering from leukemia. She had failed dozens of therapies and had no more options. Seven months later, she is cancer- free. Not many investors know about it.

For Father’s Day, our women’s ministry decided to play a joke on the dads. Our wives gave us the same shirt to wear to church. There were hundreds of guys walking around church @longhollow with the same blue buffalo checkered shirt that our wives “picked out specifically for us.”

Christian music does a lot more “I’m going to sing, in the middle of the storm” kind of lyrics, and not as much on Christ who is the actual basis of our ability to sing in the storm. We seem to feed people motivational anthems more than the glories of Christ.

I am not at all a KJV-only advocate (I use ESV, fwiw), but sometimes, my inner reactionary wants to go back to using the KJV just to make a statement. Anyone resonate with that?

@KFILE I’ll be praying for you and your sweet girl! My daughter went through AMKL. Focus on what is right in front of you and don’t dwell on the what if. Even if it were “it”. Nothing would prepare you for that. Just enjoy every moment with her no matter the difficulty.

I struggle to put into words the feeling of my daughter struggling with complications from her chemotherapy. It’s like there is a cloud hanging over me. Everyday I wonder will she get better and turn it around or is this it?

@katem02134 @bethvalletti It happens. A child can only handle so much. I’ve see it with my own eyes. If you’ve never walked a child through cancer, you do not know.
