The @bhp nickel refinery at Kambalda has been closed due to offshoring carbon emissions… denying our farmers the opportunity of nitrogenous fertiliser locally produced.

The global food market runs on the slimmest inventory. If we see a 40% reduction in yield, it will make the fuel crisis look pedestrian.
We're talking global famine, and that inevitably means global conflict.
Take food security seriously.
Farmers need nothing less than guaranteed supply of fuel and fertiliser.
The alternative is unthinkable.
Andrew Whitelaw@WheatWatcher
A somewhat large drop in crop production This is very very rudimentary, but many estimate around 40% drop in yields without fertiliser.

The abuse of taxpayers money for water buy-backs is making irrigation water unaffordable for farmers. #Waronagriculture #Keepthesheep standupforwater.lovable.app/?fbclid=IwY2xj…

day 11 final day update @Butterfieldbeef , a few tidy up jobs to fix dodgy farmer earthworks issues . Just gotta bury all the remaining anchor trenches and quick tidy with the bobcat next week

@farms_sanderson "Looks" very even. What does the gamma and EM show?
English

@CelebrateMales It has taken since the 1980s to convince a generation that men are fools and women are the smart ones. Check every sit-com you ever watched, you will see the same theme.
English

It's time for a positive conversation on males and masculinity, time to actually support our gorgeous boys and precious men...
New South Wales is the most populous state in Australia. The Leader of the Opposition is Kellie Sloane, who took over leadership of the NSW Liberal Party in November last year. She and her husband have three sons. Kellie is a supporter of men's health and the wellbeing of all males. Yesterday she announced the new appointment of Matt Cross as Shadow Parliamentary Secretary for Men's Health (deliberately speaking to this with Ben Fordham, one of the biggest talkback radio hosts in the country). Kellie Sloane said “we need to stop saying men are broken and toxic”. This news has also been covered by channel 9, Daily Telegraph, Sky News, 2GB, The Daily Aus, and news.com.au.
This follows the appointment of Dan Repacholi as Special Envoy for Men's Health at the federal level in May last year by the Labor government... The momentum is building. Take a look at the many other wins and achievements for boys and men during the last twelve months, brought to you by Celebrating Masculinity:

@4FarmersBill Logical people like you and me wouldn't but we're not dealing with rational logical thinkers when we're dealing with the activists who want a blanket ban on glyphosate.
English

@sabbott02 Surely logic should be used - it’s the dose that makes the poison.
We know too much water will kill a person - so do we ban it 🤨
English

What if the much-maligned Glyphosate was actually creating a nett biological benefit to the planet? #abstract" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.10… Used strictly as an early to mid growing season herbicide, it has huge benefits. However, using it as desiccant risks residue in food and bans on its use.
English

@4FarmersBill Whatever amount gets through, it's likely to be enough to get glyph banned for everything.
English

@sabbott02 Interesting - but I find it hard to be concerned about it’s late use in wheat in the Canadian prairies to kill thistles and dry down the fields for harvest - as likely almost no Glyph goes through a dried wheat husk to the seed - as it has stopped transpiring.

@notcapnamerica It's the worst. So frustrating knowing the email is there somewhere, but searching words, names or phrases fails to find it. And then I stumble across it just scrolling through. Woeful search abilities in Outlook.
English

I’ve never understood how they have the most horrible search function

You will literally never find that email you’re looking for on Outlook.

“A former Reserve Bank governor has lashed out at Donald Trump, calling him a "f... ing idiot" for threatening the independence of US Federal Reserve chair Jerome Powell, as central bankers across the world condemn the US President.
But the long-simmering stoush erupted last week when US prosecutors issued grand jury subpoenas against Mr Powell over cost blowouts to $2.5bn renovations of the Fed's headquarters in Washington.
The potential criminal indictment was widely seen as a politically motivated attempt to influence Fed policy and sparked an immediate global backlash, with RBA governor Michele Bullock joining the heads of major central banks in throwing their support behind Mr Powell.”
V
“The Reserve Bank's annual report shows the institution with $12.4 billion in negative equity after running an accounting loss of $36.4 billion.”
V
“But the second point is that the information that is of interest is actually confidential.”
••••••••••••••••••••
Trump is again threatening to remove the independence of the Federal Reserve.
This is a great idea.
Why should unelected central banks get to manage our currency with no accountability or transparency?
It beggars belief that that when I was a Senator, an unelected bureaucrat could refuse to hand over correspondence between itself and the International Bank of Settlements.
I am not surprised that the world’s central bankers have all come out and condemned Trump - no doubt they were handed their talking points by the IBS.
It’s typical of our governments to protect International Banks and Intelligence Agencies from scrutiny, whilst trying to censor free speech on individuals.
It’s time to put the People First for a change.
People First is the only party that has a policy to remove the independence of our central banks.

@pc602 I know the feeling well.
English

@TheRedbaiter This is true in every organisation including private businesses and corporations but particularly the public sector where merit, effectively, ceased to be a selection criterion in about 2017.
English

Shamelessly mendacious!
Australia's far left Prime Minister Anthony Albanese claims to not know of a viral video showing him leading an anti-Isreali rally during his university days.
The whole interview is a disgusting exercise in obvious deflection and obfuscation.
Mr Albanese is typical of the deceitful weak soft men (and women) who have gradually worked their way into leadership positions across the West. They care about nothing so much as power.
We the people are paying a terrible price for tolerating their weakness and duplicity.
