@AlastairDalton 2/ It'll reduce the amount of cars on the road, so less road maintenance. Helps us hit green targets ✅ Also helps reduce the strain on the NHS. Less cars = less harmful emissions + fewer RTAs + a healthier society. Only questions is why doesn't it kick in immediately?

@AlastairDalton 1/ TBF it ain't a challenge. The railway shouldn't be judged by the fare box. This will put more money in people's pockets which they'll spend and it'll be recycled again & again whilst being taxed.

@ASLEFunion Reading the comments 🙄 Any driver regardless of age needs to pass a battery of aptitude tests & a series of interviews . Then go through an intensive training period followed by a rigorous passing out process I'm pretty sure any 18 year old who's managed this is suitable
