Last night I lost one of my best friends Stefan Kamasz who I have known for nearly 40 years. Stefan was one of a kind. The mould was broken after him. A gentleman like no other. A friend who stuck by you through thick & thin never wavering in his support. A man who never spoke a bad word about anyone. An administrator whose talent, skill & major contribution to football never acclaimed the way it should have been yet he sought no recognition. Humble, full of integrity & morals who put people, the game first and not his own feathering. A husband & Father who adored his family. A man loved by all that encountered him. But to me personally he was the one for all those years who would call everyday or second day just to see how I was, chat about football, life & always end the conversation with “Love you dear girl”. Even through his own suffering the last few months, his thought was with me, making sure I was okay & making plans up to 2 days ago to hopefully catch up shortly & I assured him “not hopefully but FOR SURE!” Only time in all these years we were not able to keep our word 😪 Rest in Peace dear Stefan. You deserve this at least. You gave us so much & the world feels alot lonelier without you. Will miss you more than you know & one day we will catch up & continue our chats 🙏🕊️🕯️😪😪
