@clairekart Yes, but the main difference is the price point. WAYYY less than anything here and they have a much more substantial range of high-end goods. For example, in the US everybody’s freaking out about Hermes and the markups are insane past retail even. There it’s way less.

The astonishment - and even embarrassment - of the French and the Swiss, when I tell them that my language carries such a capital of memory that we still call them by their ancient names, the ones they themselves have forgotten. Gauls and Helvetii.

China's 18-year-old males are now the same height as American 18-year-olds. Let that sentence sit for a moment. In 1985, the average Chinese boy was measurably shorter. Not marginally: substantially. The gap was the kind you could see in a crowd, feel at a doorframe, read in a population chart without squinting. Between 1985 and 2019, Chinese men experienced the largest height increase of any nation studied. Boys aged 7 to 18 grew an average of 7.6 centimetres in three decades. What happened in China between 1985 and 2019? Economic reforms. Rapid urbanisation. And a diet that shifted, quite deliberately and measurably, toward more animal protein. More meat. More dairy. More eggs. The traditional diet was rice-dominant: and rice protein, it turns out, is negatively correlated with height across populations. When Chinese families got wealthier, they bought steak. Their children grew. This isn't a coincidence. It's a controlled experiment that 1.4 billion people ran on themselves over thirty-five years. And their children are now eye-level with Americans.

@PlanBpassport Wouldn't it have been possible for each family member to give their citizenship to the others? Then you have four people w. three nationalities each? (without dropping $300k)

@mattvanswol Yes Matt, it’s definitely that & not that minorities (and everyone for that matter) watched unqualified Meal Team Six bootlickers execute two American citizens & 40% of you praised them for it, so would rather drive or cancel travel than deal with TSA lines AND potential death.

So basically: a) ICE deploys somewhere b) TSA lines plummet c) Traffic vanishes d) ERs clear out e) Construction sites are ghost towns f) Class sizes shrink ...and we're still supposed to believe there are only 11 million illegal aliens in the country?!

i like how you change goalposts yourself to bring in talking about TSA funding (solved with ICE coming in - lines are tiny now because i guess half of america is somehow illegal - amazing how you guys have let in basically everyone) and 2nd FAA academy wont solve anything if you have like 90% people leave the academy before graduating in the first place in comparison, the chinese system is so much more sane: quick training, no obama DEI to forcibly reject white and asians, and dont let illegals in/deport all illegals if they get one parking ticket

“According to aviation insider JonNYC, he then continued working alone for over an hour after the crash, guiding remaining planes back to their gates because there was no one to relieve him until morning.”
Sam Antha@SamanthaLives1

Minutes after the Air Canada CRJ-900 collided with a fire truck on Runway 4 at LaGuardia Airport last night, killing both pilots, the air traffic controller's voice was captured on LiveATC audio. "That wasn't good to watch," a voice is heard saying on the frequency. The controller replies: "Yeah, I know. I was here. I tried to reach out. We were dealing with an emergency earlier. I messed up." The other voice responds: "Nah man, you did the best you could," according to Newsweek and CBC News. The controller had been working alone, handling both ground and tower operations. A United Airlines flight had aborted takeoff due to a warning light and a cabin odor that sickened the flight attendants. The controller cleared a fire truck to cross Runway 4 to reach the United plane. Seconds later, he realized Air Canada Flight 8646 was still rolling down the same runway after landing, according to CNN. "Stop, stop, stop, Truck 1, stop!" he shouted. It was too late. After the collision, the controller ordered an approaching Delta flight to go around, closed the runway, and called in additional emergency vehicles. According to aviation insider JonNYC, he then continued working alone for over an hour after the crash, guiding remaining planes back to their gates because there was no one to relieve him until morning.

David Beckham is the best MLS signing of all time & it’s not close. He came here when average attendance was like 3-5K and filled every stadium he went to. He is what made it all possible for MLS. And he is the one to bring Messi to the league too. Unmatched impact.

Top 5 MLS signings of all time: 1. Lionel Messi 🇦🇷 36 2. David Beckham 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 32 3. Son Heung-min 🇰🇷 33 4. Thierry Henry 🇫🇷 33 5. Antoine Griezmann 🇫🇷 35 This is solely based on their status/profile/age BEFORE they played a game.

No offense but the ATC guy realised his mistake with plenty of time and screamed at the truck driver to stop and hold, they continued on despite 3 call outs to stop. Human error was involved but not really the ATC, more so the driver.
Blake Scholl 🛫@bscholl

Unpopular opinion: Today two pilots lost their lives because we have an air traffic control system inherently vulnerable to human error. Even great humans make mistakes sometimes. Machines should be issuing clearances, not human controllers.

SP500 Monitoring the price behavior at these levels. A major low is due on April 23 in sync with variuos sectos, so we still have time to correct.. But the relief is due also as we hit some external demand, so buyers should step in..

Wh1teSwan 🦢@CryptoSwan777

HTF long-term plan, as we see a decline in each daily phase price is likely to push up where real demand sits, as there likely buyers will step in, and we will have some a bit of rellief.. On that rellief im potentially eying Bitcoin tagging 80k but thats for later SP500 + $vix
