I’m actually shocked. The @airbnb we rented ended up being a scam. As in it did not actually exist and the address was some random house. @Airbnb refunded us after two hours of us waiting in the parked car with nowhere to go. They told us we had to figure out on our own where to stay now. Last time using @Airbnb. They literally don’t even check that their listings are real places.

i genuinely don't understand - guy is solo - users spend their own balance to grow their Polsia company -> why does he need to fundraise? -> what is the money for? for AI to improve Polsia? he is close to $1m per month and from what I understand, with very low cost, so there is plenty of money available what am I missing?

Polsia just raised $30M at a $250M valuation. Approaching $10M annual run rate. One Founder + AI. Zero employees. Polsia runs companies autonomously. It also ran its own fundraising. I just showed up for signatures.

Really happy to finally see NEAR catching a bid For YEARS they mostly ignored all the hot and trendy ‘crypto’ things: NFTs, metaverse, memecoins, etc. Which also means that for years they focused on the, in hindsight, obviously winning stack: chain abstraction (Intents), Privacy, AI (inference + agents), scalability (dynamic resharding!), among others Even their approach to tokens was unconventional. Instead of pumping tokens for every project (à la Sui) they’ve insisted all value accrues to $NEAR Intents fees are printing and buying back NEAR (ZEC proxy play). Venice is a teaser for NEAR AI, all value accrues to NEAR. Not all is perfect. And there will be more pIvOTs in the future - that’s what giga brains that actually ship do as they reasses reality. But you gotta give the team credit for relentless pursuit of excellence and decentralisation

In normal circumstances, the Labor party would delay the coming federal election as long as possible and hope and pray that conditions improve. But they now have a major problem: the economy is deteriorating even faster than their polling. We’ve got high energy prices, housing stress, weak productivity, soft economic growth and high bond yields. That leaves Labor trapped between a rock and a hard place. Call the election earlier and face a rapidly rising One Nation movement with growing momentum or wait too long and the economic situation may worsen even further; making it easier for outsider candidates like myself to prosecute the case against the establishment. That’s the danger for Labor: time is no longer on their side.
