I want to save beginners from a trap I fell into. Buying a stock just because the price looks cheap. A stock trading at N2 per share is not automatically a better deal than one trading at N200 per share. Price means nothing without context. A N2 stock from a company that is losing money and drowning in debt could drop to N0.50. A N200 stock from a company that earns N50 per share and grows 25% yearly is actually cheaper in terms of value. Price is what you see on the screen. Value is what the business is actually worth. They are not the same thing. A N2 stock can be expensive. A N200 stock can be cheap. It depends entirely on the business behind it. The next time someone tells you to buy a stock because it is only N3, ask them if the company is making profit. Watch their face. Have you ever bought a stock just because the price was low?

what careers can someone pursue at 30 if they’re starting fresh without a degree or relevant skills?

Brooo if you have money please leave this country and relocate to somewhere safer and better. This is crazy..
