I was going to bed for the night, but a person kept tagging me when I had told them I needed to go for the night. Blocked. Not passive aggressive, nor mean. Told them night repeatedly, still tagged a couple more times, was too much, stopped much needed sleepiness. Unacceptable.

I got a little carried away at Trader Joe’s and now I’m going to have to cook for everyone I have ever loved or cared about over the next few weeks to go through my inventory. This is a joyful problem to have.

@kramerposts Did you hear the story about the guy that had to have his leg amputated? He asked to get the leg and he hired a chef to turn his leg meat into tacos and he invited his friends over and they ate leg tacos. Don’t do that though.

Well. I gave an hour long talk about urology at an internal medicine conference and I made them laugh SEVERAL times so I count this as a success.

Today was the first day in a while I felt a bit better. Got out. Had a normal conversation. Did something simple without shutting myself away. Doesn’t sound like much… but if you know, you know.

I know many won’t care, but it matters to me. 1,426 days sober today. People think once you get sober, it gets easier. It doesn’t. Staying sober is part of it… but a huge part is everything that comes after.
